Why name her Mu’sha. Why give her more Avatars for different cycles?

Why abonden Darkshore, except for Shatterspear(lol Darkshore is Horde land now…)

Why not even being able to explain where the Army of the Black Moon freaking is?

The Alliance has retaken (most of) Darkshore, except for Shatterspear Vale, but has abandoned Bashal’Aran, its base of operations after the Battle of Darkshore. Ameth’Aran, the other Highborne city in Darkshore, is also in ruins. The Night Warrior, or the “Avatar of the New Moon" empowered the Kaldorei Empire against the trolls in pre-Sundering times, and there are other avatars also, but undescribed, for each different phase of Mu’sha. The night elves still somewhat patrol Darkshore’s roads, but seem to have their forces and attentions diverted elsewhere (perhaps other parts of Kalimdor). However, post-Battle of Darkshore, most life in Darkshore is seemingly gone, or essentially dead, and much of the land seems abandoned or uninhabitable. Very curious that Blizzard has a fetish for constantly writing the one women-dominated/presenting (primarily) race as being harmed and in dire situations and in need of being aided by glorious heroes (that aren’t them)!!!

I don’t accept this as canon in any way.

At this point I honestly think everyone should feel free to write their own headcanon and treat is at the true lore. Because the actual “lore” is beyond terrible, and frankly insulting to our collective intelligence.

But then again. I loathe making excuses for Blizzard’s inept writing.

i’ve said it for a long time, we were wrong about moonguard US and should just write our own canon instead.

i’ll take player created lore over anything blizzard does now, even all the cursed creations

Let’s not descend into that abyss just yet. I have all kinds of confidence in RPers being equal-if-not-better to the task of writing lore in general, but some of the homebrewed lore coming from Moon Guard was wacky at best and genuinely worrying at its worst.

…But the Darnassian root for “star” is “kal” (as explicitly noted for “Kalimdor” and “kaldorei”).

Do they even have a dictionary or do they just make words up as they go?
