Also Draknoid’s something Tom Chilton said way back in 2009 they’ve wanted to make a playable race but couldn’t figure out the tech for doing it, so he said they’d like to revisit it in the future. If we get it, no big deal – I’ll probably make one to get the Lore:tm: and ignore dragon (E)RPers as I have for a decade now.

Stupid snakes. Wouldn’t even work together with Vulpera anyways(not that Pandaren stopped Zandalari from joining anyways).
I just want no more playable races, we got way to much already. (Exception being Ogre’s)

I’d much rather have proper drakonids as a playable race, but these ‘dracthyr’ as leaks refer to them look fine to me too. I’ve always been a big fan of all things dragon, though. Guess we’ll find out the truth of it all in 3 hours, 54 minutes and 40 seconds.

How do drakonid age anyway? Do they procreate etc? Or can only dragons make them?
I think these drakonids look better than what I initially expected aswell, assuming it’s real.
But I’ll always be disappointed we never got Ethereals.

It’s more because like others have said the draconic form doesn’t look like the in game drakonid but rather a fursona. I don’t mind new races, frankly I’m happy when they add a new race (even if I want more trolls) but I prefer them matching the actual aesthetics of the universe it’s drawn from. Most of us are taking playful jabs, or are probably survivors of the new race™ plague that happens whenever the next flavour of the month comes out so there’s definitely cynicism born from that but the aesthetic is completely off.

I don’t think we would/could/will/potato get any of those, they tend to be pretty big and would look rather goofy when shrunk.
the leaked dragon guy looks real doofy but also all the non-dragon dragon minions have looked real doofy since vanilla
