“What if we did elf superiority arrogance again, but this time they were scalies?”

not that I’m complaining. With the humbling of the elves (and Zandalari) over the years we probably need another “'we’re the best” race to chafe at.

He liked to stand in front of a mirror and flex.

Doing the pec dance.

The real reason for Deathwing and Neltharion’s experiments. They were trying to great a Swole Dragonflight. The other flights did not even lift and had no gainz.

Malygos’ form is that of a high elf, the artwork based on his in-game appearance from Wrath of the Lich King.

I was also going to complain about how we were robbed of Malygos’ alleged nerubian form but that rumour seems to founded on a text where a depressed Malygos’ would just sit in his lair after Deathwing’s betrayal, more or less starved of both food and magic and therefore being so thin and skeletal that he looked insectoid.

Highborne, High Elves, Blood Elves… all the same peas in the pot😏

Dragons taking on an Aqir visage would be kinda wild, since dragons=titans and aqir=old gods.

To be fair, Nerubians are as much Old God-aligned as humans are Titan-aligned.

As in, not at all, unless they gain something from it.

The hair is literally the only thing the same.

Here he seems to have a darker skin tone and golden eyes.

He most likely took on a visage of a High Elf later on to acknowledge the evolution of the Highborne.

He’s pretty clearly a High Elf in the CE artbook

That’s just stupid of them then.

I do honestly still see a purplish/violet skintone in the Legacies video - which is what the Highborne had in the BotH comic

Dude needs to lay off the fake tan.

I mean, when his entire form is fake, it’s strange to be fixated on whether he obtained the tan by actually tanning, I think.

I mean if he spent a lot of time in Northrend even in those days, a tan makes sense. Few things reflect sunlight as effectively as freshly fallen snow. With that being said…

It probably does boil down to a deliberate, cosmetic choice on his part.

So no one wants to mention Deathwing taking the form of a human before humans were a thing?
it made sense when he was a noble imposter in the 2nd war.
the form could be based on vrykul, but that ain’t no vrykul form, its small and beardless.
