I mean if you’re old and hunched over, and your stonemason bro asks you if you’ve got any preferences for the massive statues he’s about to make… would you choose Chad Primus or senior citizen?
That does raise some questions for me though.
Is aging actually still a thing in the afterlife? If so that sucks.
Especially if you already arrive there at an old age.
Turns out dying in a blaze of glorious battle in your prime was the way to go after all.
Honestly, the more we learn about WoW’s afterlife(Shadowlands) it seems like an actual awful place.
I’d even take Supernatural’s version of heaven/afterlife over Shadowlands if I had a choice, and that was also really terrible/had some really dark undertones to it.
Why can’t writers just leave it ambiguous & or nice.
As if that part of the shadowlands wasn’t disturbing enough, now we’ve got celestial minions too
coming after your blood echoes
If you are tracked automatically. I know I had to update my score daily because rio was incredibly slow in updating it automatically. So it’s still not reliable.
Uhm…
I hate you both equally.
Cuz it totally is and the existential horror of this metaphysical snarl moved WoW from fantasy to the psychological horror genre.
I will accept this trade if we get Moonlight Greatsword in the game.
“Ser, I observe thou have nay a surcoat on… Might I perchance invite you to my Noble House, The Scourge? We are planning on retaking the nerth.”
bruh i’m a tauren…
…count me in.
tbf “the aferlife sucks actually” is entirely consistent with the stuff that warcraft has stolen all its ideas from since the 1990s.
My biggest issue with this patch is the fact we actually get to kill my boy Kel’thuzad after he’s jsut being downgraded to generic jailer minion #1268564251 instead of the giga chad schemer he was.
@ Danuser and co stop touching the WC3-MoP lore and learn to write instead of retconning everything for some trash tier story writing and plot.
I’m calling it rn:
We’re gonna cut off the Primus/Runecarver’s arm. His right arm is obvs a prosthetic and we only free the Runecarver’s left arm.
Laughs in phylactery
That’s a pretty good observation, actually.
I also like how in the time before the Runecarver/Primus connection was confirmed, people were pointing out how it was impossible for them to be the same because of how the Primus model looks.
Enough time in the Maw seems to turn anyone into a grey, knobby thing. In game as in real life.
all his schemes and machinations have lead him to here:
dying for completely unclear reasons and motivations
He schemed so hard that he forgot what he was even scheming for in the beginning.
Ah, the old Ocelot Maneuver.
