PTR Spoiler/Discussion Thread (Part 2)

The planet was quite build to kill anyone and everything. It’s a miracle that the Arakkoa managed to form an advanced society with Solar Death Beams. Draenei surprisingly not just surviving on Draenor but also thriving in such a place and managing to replicate much of their former argussian technology from the basic materials.

Prophet Velen was able to build this in a jungle, with a bunch of scraps!

Arakkoa had the patronage of the local Wild Gods, too. Still not sure why Rukhmar was a world boss if she helped lift the whole civilization.

Guess Lil’ Frostwing will be the Anniversary pet!

Wether it will be a recoloured/skinned Frosty, or a Frost-Proto Dragon or anything else is still to be seen

Shaky knowledge here. I just remember that Rukhmar perished in giving shape/birth to the Arakkoa. She wasn’t actually around when they left the peaks of Gorgrond to re-establish themselves in Arak, she taught them briefly about the greatness of Anzu and stuff but that was all. The Rukhmar we see in WoD is just a ressurected version, a mere shadow of the original and somewhat twisted by the cult of the Anhari which were the fire/light fanatics.

Can it be another staple of Yrel’s success in the AU Draenor? Another culture that understands the Light, hates the Void and has technologies not much worse than her own?

Or the real leakers are just as excited about the expansion as we are and don’t feel like its worth leaking anything.

No those guys were fanatic xenophobes much like the Scarlets (Although the Scarlets somehow have non-human immortalized as statues for some reason).

Let’s not forget that Yrel’s new movement had been willingly embraced by some and it’s only in the later stages that it seemingly went “join us… Or else we’ll force that choice upon you.” I’d be interested in knowing how the Arakkoa viewed it… After all the new order composed of cursed and high Arakkoa were present by then and having some new Crusade wanting to force the Light upon everyone might not sit very well with them, could likely have resulted in the cursed Arakkoa firmly unwilling to give up Shadow and resist while the scattered remain of the adherent of Rukhmar zealots to vibe with this with the order of the awakened to be caught in the middle.

Sword of Sargeras eh?

What sword?

It’s going to be a cosmic expansion isn’t it?

I’m going to fetch my screaming pillow.

Edit; here’s a good breakdown of the new book https://warcraft-lore-archives.tumblr.com/post/732719517185261568/war-of-the-scaleborn-lore-facts

Your Eonar body pillow.

Wrong pillow for the occasion. Remove the S.

How do I get my pillow to stop screaming?

I mean, there is a way to stop screaming through use of a pillow, but I wouldn’t recommend that one :frowning:

At least it’s not the worst sans.

It was an abomination truth to be told ,thats why
During the height of Apexis culture, a small group of Anhari priests sought out the remains of Rukhmar. They found her charred bones near the spire, and used their magics to resurrect her. But it was only a partial success. This new Rukhmar had only a sliver of the original’s power and intelligence. Nonetheless, the Apexis worshiped her as their goddess reborn.
Basically it was an undead made with arcane, light and void - not a “real” undead, but not really “natural” either I guess
