If it comes with a Sire Denathrius not actively trying to destroy reality, I do believe this is the superior option.
I forgot to say this when the discussion was about how weirdly small Zandalar felt, but I think the ultimate example of how they kind of bungled it is when Bwonsamdi mentions water for crops, but there is not a single farm in all of Zandalar.

Taking a step back; how come in most movies and tv shows, but also in reallife, the bad guys surround themselves with sex yet most bad guys we see ingame want to be transformed into something powerful yet abominable? Even becoming soul robots unable to satisfy that itch for the rest of their existence. (Creepy fanfic aside)

I always argued that closing up the maw would flood revendreth with horrible people in a forever nightmare of bureaucracy and waiting lines to be processed.
Congratulations, Baruk the Impaler, after roughly three million years you may now have your sins weighed. Oh would you look at that, that’s another eight million in the cage. It seems our fair realm has become a dumping ground for the wost possible spirits. My oh my, how do we make this more efficient? What if we built a great tower full of cages and devices by which we extract the anima of their sinful souls?
