Don’t diss on my boy Knaak. He has done great and terrible things that is true, but the balance tilts toward “More good than harm.”
Speaking of dragons, I am glad that Alexstrasza was stated to be a bit “toothless” on the wowhead article.
I understand that she had to be beaten up by Raszageth to establish the threat of the primalists, or that she makes a lot of concessions to the dragonspawn, or the Primalists, but considering they come from a period of losses already (Legion DK questchain, anyone? Alex VS Deathwing?) I kinda believe she could have used some badass moment.

As much as the Visages and stuff are useful at times, it does really bug me how much WoW leans on them, for both Dragons and Dracthyr.
Like, let me just play as a Dragon person? I do not care for some stupid, nothing-burger elf-like visage. Either let me pick ANY of the existing races, or just let me remove it entirely.
It’s like with them taking ages to make Soar it’s own flight thing, of all the nonsense.
Same with the Dragons, they’re dragons. The in-game and engine-cinematic models are plenty expressive, so “Oh, they have to use visages to show expressions” is lazy and I hate it. Let them be freaking Dragons for heck sakes.

I just want to point out that they, in the Godzilla movies, even have him be expressive…
How hard can it be to make WoW dragons expressive, and even then we don’t really need it, cause dragons???

Indeed. That was an epic Alexstrasza moment.
You know, I just think dragons should behave like dragons. Make them feel dangerous. Primal, when needed be.
The other epic Alexstrasza moment was during WotLK, when you could hover on her health and she had an amazing 138M HP - that was more health than the Lich King in ICC, only the Leviathan from Ulduar had more HP than her. It’s not a feat but… kinda, okay, damn, nice presence!

Mhm. If only by showing them to battle a bit more often in their dragonforms. See them actually throw down again for a change. Heck, even against Fyrakk they all stayed in their visage forms like, wtf. Atleast Fyrakk used his actual form a few times during the battle.

If only Raszageth didn’t die in the first raid. Despite her mad antics, she did look and act cool. Could even have given us any idea of how and why so many Primalists began following her, and all of that without getting out of the dragon shape for long, least of all during the battles.

Raszageth had that mad chaos within her that made her quite compelling. Her boss fight was epic, she indeed went down like a… boss. Heh, got it? A raid boss… Okay I stop.
Also, massive credit should go to the voice actress: she did a stellar job portraying an angry dragon, and often stole the scene. Dare I say she actually felt like a dragon, as opposed to the titan-born dragons which stand most of the time in their visage form? You are a dragon, act like one.
If only we understood what the Primalists were actually fighting for.

I swear everytime they make him take the spotlight he acts less and less like a Goblin.
Almost as if they wish Goblins as they are didn’t exists, while I think they’re pretty cool and can be done pretty cool without removing all the Goblin out of them.
Instead they keep pushing the least Goblin of Goblins into the limelight

This was one of the press kit screenshots - you can see her allllllll the way at the back there, but that’s literally all we have. Could be Talanji, could be another character using Talanji as a model, could be content that gets cut before it ever sees alpha/beta.

Zaralek Caverns could’ve given us Troggs, Gnomes, Earthen, Dwarves, Dark Trolls, and probably a slew more races. Instead we got the sniff-fetish race
