I don’t like them. I rather they were Dark Trolls, or that promised Troll ancestor race.(Unless the Sniffer are the Troll ancestors, lmao)
I said it before and I’ll say it again; I am tired of Blizzard creating new races for the same things every other expansions.
Earthen, mechagnomes, Vrykul, Giants, etc work fine as Titanforged servants-races and could’ve filled in several spots for the Keepers. We did not, and still do not, need the Refti.
Same goes for the factions like the Burning Legion and the Wyrmtongue who, unneededly, replaced the Gan’arg and Mo’arg in Legion
Anduin’s story is beginning to mirror that of his father, Varian. Many years ago, King Varian Wrynn disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and Bolvar Fordragon ruled as regent in his place. In time, it was revealed that Varian had been torn in two by Onyxia’s magic - to save his kingdom from her clutches his two halves had to find each other and become whole. While Anduin hasn’t been physically torn apart, he is facing a similar conflict of spirit, finding it particularly hard to connect to the Light.
I had almost forgotten the Wowhead writers’ insane ramblings.
Okay evidently Kotick was not actually the issue with Blizzard because since his departure we’ve had record amounts of items on the WoW store in short timespans and now we’re paying for short character stories. Remember when you could freely access the WoW website to read integral character short stories? I sure do.
I mean, my main issue with Kotick was his ineptitude (or willful ignorance) regarding the scandals that came out from within Acti-Blizzard. That and his own unhinged behaviour.
Not to say that I’m celebrating this business model, but… you know.
They mentioned during the interview swarm of Blizzcon post-TWW release that they’d only be releasing additional stuff compared to major plot points being book-only, but they never mentioned not releasing anything commercially.
Look, I’m more befuddled about the vast amounts of flying predatory reptiles not instantly depleting the local ecosystem with their no doubt furnace-like demand for daily calories.
That only applies to titan transformed dragons and the incarnates. Not all Proto-Drakes have made the leap to intelligence as well and even if you told them that eating in visage form is as filling as doing so in their feral form, it’s kinda antithetical to their animalistic form.
The only excuse here is just go by fantasy rules and not question the weak ecological system in place in WoW because that’s really not worthwhile as an exercize.
Still applies to the vast presence of Proto-Drake on the Dragon Isles. They’re everywhere, eat a great deal and their mortality rate is unknown in the current era.
Dragon Slayer/Hunter has to be a legit profession on the DI to the point where being asked about it is like asking if there are bakers, cobblers or blacksmiths in a settlement, normal AF.
