Awesome band name.

I don’t get it. Is this a reward from maxing a mage in the MoP thingie?

It’s not 100% confirmed yet how it works (from what I’ve seen) that if you need to level a mage in MoP Remix or just unlocks everything if you do it once. Hopefully in upcoming weeks they’ll confirm it!

I’m so looking forward to all the old Pandaria mogs and stuff, but there’s one thing devs haven’t been clear about. Which is the phasefest Pandaria was, is and will be until it hopefully gets revamped. Since the Pandaria rush characters will be transferred to normal realms, I wonder if it’ll be possible to use them in RP in Pandaria due to them being in a different phase around a half of the continent.

Story: Danuser
Hairline: Gone
Hotel: Trivago

Lmao

I mean the message itself they are trying to represent here is fine but I do think that it is a bit of an usual anuser plot where the devs flick your nose for thinking you were going to get some better visage forms or even customization options for Dracthyr.

After all, if it is such a pivotal and important part of the dracthyr that they are supposed to look indistinct between the sexes and that devs want them to represent body/identity positivity… Why did they then cram in the option to have a half-baked visage (without even mentioning the lore plotholes) option to them in the first place?

Ahh but then folks will say “you misunderstand, it’s about celebrating your choice!!”… Except that all of the races represent that. That is literally the first choice you make in this game.

All in all, like with most of DF’s writing, blizzard attempts to masquerade a story as a deep philosophical and/or sociological commentary, but manages to still somehow fumble it with their previous decisions, leaving the end result to be like a cake that is raw in the middle.

3/10 is the best I’d give it.

The first sample is always on the house, Meronspell.

And now it just turns you into great value brand goth girl. No :cherries: , no :peach: either.

The void was a mistake. Reject tentacles, embrace the shadows.

Considering this is modern warcraft where any and all nuance and differences between the different magic types and their impacts on tye individual have been reduced down to “what is your favourite colour”, I wouldn’t think so.

I can unironically believe the modern devs could without batting an eye write a story about three elven sisters in the future (for the sake of originality, lets call them Wingrunners) who all go and learn a different magic type. One takes up arcane, another takes void, the third fel. And then everyone claps.

A valid point mr. Shogganosh, however this can’t and won’t happen because then they would have to deal with the implication of the people who inflict this kind of affliction upon their pets and loved ones as being completely and utterly evil.

Which they certainly are if they were to do it, as I am sure you and others would agree.

Problem is, they can’t write the Alliance being evil or doing morally questionable things, let alone representing void as a fundamentslly evil power. No can do.

Oh great, I have to play this.
Thanks a bunch.

Maybe, yet most of the time he appeared as an elf, though granted, Korialstrasz is a character from a time before they started delving into what visages mean for dragons, as he died by Cataclysm ( I miss our OG Red Dragon hero).

I don’t know about that. I’d think the situation would have to be real desperate before you’d want to do something like that willingly.

The comparison with the inhabitants of Southshore during Cataclysm comes to mind. They were faced with the choice of either being raised as Forsaken, or take on the worgen curse willingly. They chose the latter not because they were like “worgen, yay” but because it was the only sure way to avoid being violated after death to the point you’d have to fight your former brethren.

I always saw, and still see, the Void as something even more dangerous than the worgen curse, and thus I find it a bit weird that there are these npc’s who are like “Oh Void, let’s do it!” like it isn’t a big deal. It should be.

Void Corrupted Puppy : “I’m going to be a good dog, but evil.”

And inevitably, it leads to a re-enacting of Ol’ Yeller.

How old are you again?

Not -that- old, but I know of the movie’s existence, why you ask?

Had to google the movie and it shows 1957… I got curious is all.

Cultural osmosis is a hell of a thing.
