If Old God corruption is so bad why didn’t the Titans just brew a potion to fix it like Wrathion did?
Are they stupid?

If I recall correctly, the tol’vir who survived left the radius of the device. Double-checked Warcraft wiki:
The energies of the Forge instantly killed all life in the region — including a small number of tol’vir defenders who had remained outside the stronghold to act as a distraction — and turned the lush jungle into a barren desert.
https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Tol%27vir#Lei_Shen_and_the_scouring_of_Uldum
The device killed even plant life.
Edit.
I like the idea of the titans being mostly a force of good, but flawed and misguided here and there.
The idea of turning them into outright villains feels a bit too much, but I guess we have to wait and see.
Seems to be the case checking pages 85-88 of Chronicles 1 as well, although it mentions that the Tol’vir needed to activate it, which meant some were likely underground doing so? It also notes that “nearly every other creature on the surface of Uldum that day died instantly” and that “pockets of plant and animal life would slowly return over the millenia”, “the surviving Tol’vir within Uldum worked to ensure that no one would ever again attempt to claim such power”. Seems like if you get lucky enough the reorigination energy can just. . .either miss you or perhaps just phase through you in some way which is how we still have the Keepers and Watchers alongside some older Tol’vir hovering around. That or they all just went north to Tanaris during it and returned later.
Blegh, this actually raises more questions than it answers when I think about it.
It’s almost like the current canon is such a patchwork mess that trying to argue over it is going to only cause division and headaches?
Far from ideal, but it’s clear from this thread so far there’s so much discrepancy it’ll just cause arguements
Imagine if they end up modelling Aman’thul more after Zeus. Now that’s gonna be hilarious.
I’d personally rather they did a bit more original stuff. Early/OG Titan and Keeper stuff is so heavily riffed off Norse/Greek mythos it’s almost too much, even by WoWs pop-culturey standards…
Genuinely a shame they never fleshed out the Uldum Keepers because they had really interesting implications and aesthetics.
I’d be interested in knowing what exactly has been an original WoW thing or just inspired rather than straight up borrowed from elsewhere. I don’t mean plots or story, more like NPCs.
PS : Pssst, do you intend on playing V Rising again on the 8th of May when it’s out of early access? Would be happy to have a fellow Vampire enjoyer to play with. (Apologies for this in a thread unsuitable for such request.)
Monkey paw goes: I got a message here just for you!
“Praise be to the First Ones!”
Nah, they’d probably begin with Ve’nari and those blue automaton dudes first… Then having Turbo X-plus God blaring a horn directly into the “CHAMPYUN!” ears is on brand too.
I have a shortage of Trader’s tenders for all these mounts and appearances…
Priority is on the Horde sabers dueler’s capes en the cloak/hood trapping ensembles
Look at this! This would be awesome for my Warrior, a follower of Goldrinn riding upon a descendant of Goldrinn into battle to slay the Horde!
These sabers will bring the Horde (HD) sabers higher, which is always a good thing for my Nightborne characters!
…
…
Touche…
Edit: Damn, some neat bits and pieces in the Trading Post stuff.
I gotta say, I love the cloak ensembles and the tabards. More plain but functional stuff is gooood.
Huh those are the second pair of switched around mounts, with a human-themed frostwolf for Alliance and an orc-themed warhorse for the Horde being the first.
Gnome-themed trike and Goblin-made Mechanostrider next please.
Followed by tauren-themed Elekk and Dranei-themed kodo!
With the pricing of those items on the trader’s post, you have to wonder why is the monthly limit a 1000 and not 2000 by now. You wouldn’t even have to add more tasks to do on the journal, they’re usually quite sufficient to even reach 2000.
The FOMO is strong on this one. I dare not even think about how things may, just may go down in tender pricing idk a year or two later but I’d be surprised if that happened, they ain’t no video games with a discounted price.
Sees a swan. Runs for the hills.

Zeus was scared of swans? I’d imagine it’d be the other way around given the last conversation you and I had about him
Oh no, I mean we would suddenly have to be quite careful around them!

Preorder the War Within’s super epic deluxe edition and get 1000 free tendies btw

After looking it up I finally know why… damn Zeus at it again!
I mean, beside that, Swans are on the same tier list as Geese for being obnoxious and vicious if they so choose. Avoid anyway!
