PTR Spoiler/Discussion Thread (Part 2)

Seems the devs did not forget the friendship between the Night Elves and the people of Gilneas!

And slowly Belanaar gets more sailing routes then Orgrimmar and Stormwind!

I don’t think Illidan agrees.
He extended an olive branch twice and both times Malfurion dismissed it or only accepted it in a round about way.

I must repeat that his merciful nature tends to be a problem down the line for people other than himself and they usually pay it with their lives.

I do agree that it’s weird he’s so wishy washy with his own brother but I suppose that comes with the rot of this former love triangle (Ugh, I was just reminded of that time travel quest with the poem). Then again his mercy of imprisoning Illidan over execution turned out well down the line so credit where credit is due.

You know its going to be extremely weird when we inevitably hit TWW and Midnight and all the corruption elements that will be involved in it, knowing now that both Sabellian and Wrathion have created ways to make people permanently immunized against the Void. You kinda have to wonder why we don’t just make everyone chug one of those things right now and save ourselves 4 years of coming problems by eliminating the ability for corruption ever again; let the anti-vaxxers get corrupted instead.

I doubt there is such a thing. Increased resilience? Sure, but permanent immunity I doubt.

Hey it made us resistant to an Old God Unleashed its good enough! If worst comes to worst that just means we combine Sabellian and Wrathion’s methods together to make Void-Immunity+ (£5.99 per month)

If you mean BFA cloak, it still wasn’t full immunity. I doubt it can be achieved. Various degrees of resistance, I guess top you can do is knowing how Void works + being undead + BFA cloak. Not sure how Sabellian’s method works, if it’s compatible, you add it. But I am sure that even with all of this, you wouldn’t be completely immune.

To comment on both your and @Elenthas’s point, ‘fix Old God brainwashing’ potions already existed since Cataclysm. https://www.wowhead.com/quest=25297/from-the-mouth-of-madness

It’s not immunity, but it is weird how you can basically snap someone out of Old God’s influence that easily.

That just means we combine Wrathion’s Method, Sabellian’s Method AND this Method Nera! Void Immunity++ (£7.99 for this subscription due to higher success rates).

Don’t you see the Capitalist economic possibilities!?

Already used the Wowhead’s quest as inspiration IC.

y’all nerds need to catch up with the times :sunglasses: :fist:

(I wonder what happens when you make a Void Elf drink any of this.)

Magic at this point is simply pick your favourite colour of mush. It’s all devolved into the same slush for the most part.

Murloc Magic (Mrgl Magic tm) is the best magic.

Sells anti-void potions while also making more void elves.

Seems like you’re playing both sides to me…

Very standard capitalist play.

Also, per dracthyr quest, it seems you can silence the void by inserting a new addiction.

Swapping insane invasive voices in your head telling you to kill your friends for insane invasive voices in your head telling you to have one more line of columbian marching powder.

Outstanding play.

Just one more bit of skooma…
Just. One. More.

Sir Terry Pratchett did it already, with Vampires :metal:

Wait, what quest is this? The new one? :eyes:

It’s in baseline Dragonflight questing experience in Ohn’aran Plains. Part of the questline has Dracthyr succumb to The Call, succumbing to the will of Deathwing. Dracthyr players who do the quest also start to hear The Call, but they get a unique questline where a Nightborne gives them mana addiction, because you’ll be too busy dealing with your craving for magic to hear the echoes of Deathwing’s madness calling for you.

One is easier to deal with than the other.
