The mounts? Nothing.
Putting Metzen on a plinth and hailing the second coming? A few things.
Non evokers can stay in visage whilst in combat eh?

Every single thing about TWW is absolute banger hoooly heck I can’t wait
RIP Dalaran Market.
Valdrakken, as mentioned, would be amazing for it. Much bigger, a lot more avenunes and potentials for more stalls. Also more buildings.
Hopefully Blizz have the common sense to turn off phasing ASAP.
It’s worth remembering that we’re dealing with mages that have rebuilt Dalaran from utter rubble and ruination before. I’m not saying the markets won’t have to relocate of course, but wouldn’t take it for a fact that Dalaran is gone for good.
Also holy heck TWW is looking good so far.
I may like the idea of Dalaran falling, I wonder what they are going to do with the Kirin Tor however.
Will it dissolve, will it see a resurgence like it was with the night elves?
And what is the true extent of the void’s armies on Azeroth so far? If they destroy Dalaran, I sure hope there is going to be some powerful dudes there.
Also an interesting bit. Apparently, Locus Walker claims their world also tried to “warn” the ethereals with voices before it went kaboom with the void.
Was K’aresh a titan?
It would imply that K’arseh had a world soul that sang to the Ethereals, but they didn’t notice until it was too late, yes.
It’s what Jaina says anyway.
That might also mean that there is a void titan out there
Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the end game. Use the Sunwell to bring it here.
Love, love, love the bat ears.
Weirdly enough, despite having a character (this guy) heavily invested in the Kirin Tor… I actually look forward to the fall of Dalaran. It gives me material to work with. It gives him a very strong reason to be heavily involved in events going forward where for a long time i’ve struggled to find stuff for him to do that doesn’t feel forced.
And it gives a Battlemage a reason to full John Wick on whoever is responsible.
That being said I find it a little funny that hundreds (if not thousands if we remember the city in-game is like 1/10th of the size it would be) are dead and suffering, and people’s first thought is “But what about my hot dog stand RP?”
Twili, I call thee forth.
Dalaran Memorial Market. Consume in tribute to our fallen.
I like the fact that Dalaran gets taken out, or at least partially. It kind of reminds me of the Legion intro scenario where both Horde & Alliance get owned and lose major figures. It raises the stakes.
I can at least over-all say that I quite like what I’ve seen so far, I just hope the story doesnt suck.
Well we got Metzen back and while he’s far from perfect (Remember Green Jesus?) he at least knows the assignment.
DF was… dull, but inoffensive broadly speaking. Though it did continue the Night Elf feet kissing more than I’d like, at least we seem to be at an end to that.
I see these writers have stolen some pages from the WoD/Shadowlands “introduce a new leader character only to immediately kill them off” school of writing.
i like the idea that the kirin tor tried to pull the “okay let’s just teleport our city above the danger zone again” move and finally got caught out
arrogant wizards are a time honoured tradition and you love to see it when they get humbled
Too many digits on both hands and feet.
At least if Blizzard gives a damn about how morphology changes with evolution.
I’ve seen a suggestion that the magic community would do well with moving to Algeth’ar/Valdrakken. It’s far more neutral than the current human/elf vibe, it doesn’t have a whole district as a free PvP zone, and it could be the one thing that’ll keep the Dragon Isles relevant for more than dragon-related themes.
Algeth’ar getting RP would be a dream come true. Academy RP sounds epic and I’d throw my Dracthyr in there for the luls.
And Randal. He needs a diploma in mrglin’.
A platform for mrglerobics?
And the academy is a solid choice, especially since there’s a lot more schools of magical thought there.
Druids, shamans and other things will be at home there, as well as magi.
The Paladin tier has to be the worst since Cataclym. It’s genuinely diabolical.
Paladin bros… it’s not fair.
