And thus the half elves rose.
I hope dracthyr can have round ears… And no scales.

The least interesting of all cities ever. It needs a revamp and it needs it quickly.

Give us a melting pot of Horde races. A city that incorporates all Horde cultures: forsaken, orcs, taurens, trolls and zandalari, blood elves, nightborne and so much more.

The age of man has ended. The age of the orc— wait, wrong script.

The age of the half-elves has begun.

I’d be happy with more buildings generally. Especially on the crags.

In a world revamp I would like to see it remade entirely.

Edit. I’m thinking of something that I can envision as a capital for the Horde right? Because when I look at Suramar or Zandalar, or even SMC to a lesser extent, I cannot see how these people would bow down before a city made of huts with spikes.

You’re saying this as if they were ever rare among us.

They don’t even do that for Stormwind. Might be too much, although catering to a couple of them is possible with how Orgrimmar is like. I don’t see Elves getting much room in there since QT and SMC is about to get their mass revamp. Orcs obviously, Tauren and Trolls can easily be woven together with Vulpera caravans navigating through the city.

Truth be told, I think the destruction of Dalaran should elicit a response from pretty much most characters existing.

Think about it. They are one of the most known nations in the world, practically everyone has heard of them. Destroyed during the Third War by Archimonde, they managed to recover.
Since then they have been there for Azeroth during many of it’s darkest hours , first during the Nexus War and the War against the Lich King, then indirectly through Khadgar during the attack on the Iron Horde Draenor, and in Legion they were once again there right in the thick of it to help fight back the demons and prevail.

Dalaran’s pretty much a symbol as much as it is a magical nation at this point. So, to then see that destroyed… that should have most characters who are atleast semi-aware of the world outside their immediate vicinity go “Woah, shiz just got real, damn.”

So I hope people will rp that out accordingly, because if your character is going to be “Meh” about it then it gets hard for me to take you seriously.

Honestly, if I was making vanilla WoW, the playable world at launch would consist of just Kalimdor (but more detailed than in the vanilla WoW we got), with no factions and three capital cities: Limsa Lominsa, Ul’dah and Gridania.

…I mean, Theramore, Orgrimmar, and Hyjal.

Then the first expansion would have introduced southern Eastern Kingdoms, and the second expansion, northern Eastern Kingdoms. Which means it would be okay if the vanilla game was slanted towards a Horde focus, since there would be a lot of Alliance themed content in the expansions.

So would I.
But as it stands, they have plenty of space where they could add little areas for other races.
It’s incredibly empty for the place with so much verticality.

There are a lot of people who dislike the Kirin Tor IC (ie. I am looking at you, blood elves)

A fair point to make. Imagine if they placed many huts/caves on top of one another all over the natural walls - places you’d have to reach with a mount? That would be pretty sick.

It will elicit a deep bemused laughter from me, thats for sure
“serves them right”

“Nooooo!!! Oh gods, what a tragedy! All those books!”

I guess we’ll see how they react… if at all.

:person_shrugging:

Would that be Levey’s IC reaction? :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes. Then quiet satisfaction that Dalaran noir has finally been purged from the world of otherwise adequate wines.

Really shouldn’t expect much empathy from a warlock.

Reminder that Dalaran canonically developed its wine culture as a response to the wide spread lead poisoning the city was known for

Lead-tainted loons with access to town flattening spells is not okay.
