Half elves, going from 3 outside of Khaz Algar to the most prominent race in Azeroth.
Also, do we count them as a seperate race? Cuz that might mean the Alliance gets a new, most numerical elf race, instead of the Horde having the most elves

Voice of the Emperor is partying in the distance.
I suppose? Not sure I wouldâve thought so before TWW, but seeing as how thereâs an entire nation of them out there, it sort of tracks.
Explore the Fate of the Kirin Tor
Delve into the aftermath of Dalaranâs fall in The War Within epilogue questlineâthe Kirin Tor must confront their past mistakes and decide on the future course of their people.
Yeeeesssss!
It weirds me out, though, to see it marketed as âThe War Within epilogue questlineâ. If this is the epilogue, what will 11.1 and 11.2 be about?
Not a fan of the Half-elf ears, but it wonât change much for my NElves, who will call them Humans eitherway.
Or blood elves who will racism against them! (Thank you Lorâthemar for making it valid!)
Is this customization coming in real life? Asking for a friend.
No, itâll only be available for humans in World of Warcraft!
âthe Kirin Tor must confront their past mistakes and decide on the future course of their people.â
Do you thin Jaina will finally apologise for her ethnic cleansing campaign yes/no
Also do you think Modera will apologise for that time she was like âyeah sure Garithos you can use our dungeons to execute the Prince of Silvermoon who is also a member of the Kirin Torâ
These are not mistakes, though?
Horde tries to commit genocide on night elves and humans multiple times? No apology needed, they(humans/night elves) wanted it and are to blame, it was just one person.
Kirin Tor removes pro-genocide faction that lies from their city? GENOCIDE! DEATH TO JAINA! HORDE WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
Typical Horde
If the Kirin Tor hadnât assisted with Kaelâs (failed) execution, both Blood Elves and Forsaken would have joined the Alliance, creating a united Eastern Kingdoms and robbing the Horde of any notable foothold on the continent.
Knock-on effect, woulda caused Suramar to join the Alliance too.
Womp womp, now they ainât got no blood golems or cool chronomancers.
If Kaelâthas had just followed orders, instead of allying with murderous naga and Legion lovers, he wouldnât have been thrown into the dungeons to be executed either.
If Sylvanas hadnât betrayed Garithos, her ambassadors to the Alliance wouldnât have gone missing somewhere between Lordaeron and Stormwind because the Kirin Tor couldâve aided them.
You know what I find most anoyying?
Something as simple and small as Half-Elven ears are easily added, and add a whole lot RP-potential in the same manner Manâari skin color didâŚ
So why not do this easily added customisations more often? Felborne, Wretched, Withered, Broken, Yaungol, Taunka, Fel Orc, Frost Trolls, etc are such easily implented customisations to add to already playable races, and would mean so much for so many people but for some reason they keep holding them off, instead adding things like Half-Elven ears to Humans.
Nightborne use Chronomancy? Because frankly since they lost Elisande and the Eye of Amanâthul I have seen them use Chronomancy exactly 0 times.
So uhh, theyâre cool yea⌠Cool Mages.
Other then that, I donât mind we lost the Blood Elves for a little while; weâll have them back as neutral in a few years anyways and in the mean time we have High Elves lmao
Suddenly a blinding flash appears, and you hear a voice cry out
âDIE MONGREL!â
(Also yes blizz, even despite me having posted it before, I -will- post it again.)
This is an example of Starshadeâs Law in action, only applied to the Kirin Tor rather than the night elves.
The obvious author intent in TFT was that the Kirin Tor was gone. They were part of the old world and went down with their ship, and now Dalaran was the domain of looters and scavengers picking up what little was left. Garithos was the highest authority left in the ruins of Lordaeron because everyone above him in the chain of command was dead, and there was nobody left in Dalaran to dispute him taking over the ruins.
I donât know if the WoW team had firm plans for Dalaran at this point. Northern Eastern Kingdoms in vanilla seemed basically phoned in and in hindsight should perhaps have been left for an expansion of their own. The Dalaran dome in vanilla was basically the zone designers saying they werenât ready to deal with it just yet.
Then somehow, in Wrath, we got a fully repaired Dalaran that could suddenly fly, and a fully operational Kirin Tor, even though most of them should have been dead. The writers just decided that they returned. Somehow.
What did gnomes and dwarves ever do to Garithos?
Getting lost.
They werenât human and he was a racist. There really doesnât need to be anything else.
Itâs weird 'cos they had Jailer Kassan at the end of the dungeon, clearly a Kirin Tor person who Kael knew personally, but he was literally the only one that showed up.
What were Rhonin, Vereesa, Modera, etc. doing at that time? Blizz have carefully skirted around ever answering that. Perhaps with their apologies for the mistakes of the past weâll finally find out.
Even if the Kirin Tor wasnât gone, what they gonna do to an army that occupies their city?
Turn on them and get slaughtered/imprisoned?
