PTR Spoiler/Discussion Thread (Part 3)

If you’re Alliance you don’t get a choice. You’re damned to level 80 racist hostile Stromgarde for eternity atm.

I guess you could use old vanilla Strom?

Do they approach humans with the same hostility?
Nobody wants you here, human.

lol. Lmao.

Honestly, I would not be against it. It could be the start of the actually having racial focused storylines, instead of just ignoring the different races making up the Horde and Alliance(even if its stupid and that multiple different Alliance races helped retake/defend Stromgarde against the Horde)

Just a shame it’s because of Warcrafts most basic villian factions, instead of focusing on a races/kingdom/peoples proper fears and hatred after years of war against other races.

I mean, the Horde went on genocidal campaigns for less.

This pisses me off. You can be proud of your race, culture and heritage and what it achieved and not be a racist at the same time, is that a memo Blizzard missed or something? Faerin can be in awe of her ancient homeland and not be a racist against the Horde.

Feels to me like they’re building Faerin and the Arathi expedition by way of her, to be anti-Arathor Empire once that expansion hits.

I doubt this is going to be the case because Warfront zone is needed for gathering of cosmetic stuff. From what people said elsewhere, the zone returns to the old phase afterwards.

What I think is happening here is that you are in the “new” version after you complete the final quest, but once you leave, you only return to the BfA one afterwards.

Noooo, I don’t want the Warfront Arathi back!

I hope they’ll add a new phase to Zirodormi!

Someone has to stop Yshaarj from aurafarming man, this guy just aurafarms crazily anytime he shows up and reminds everyone why he’s the absolute GOAT of Void lore.

It would be nice if someone could check whether the BFA phase is restored, after leaving and returning.

If it isn’t, we might need to make a genuine complaint about this on the PTR forum, as the Marran Supporters would ruin Stromgarde’s potential as a hub.

I wish this cinematic was instead an avatar for each old god, controlled by some tentacle, or corruption, speaking as a proxy.

Having each of them in a meeting around a table is so incredibly goofy looking, especially when their sizes in our fights differ massively.

Shadow priest idols. It’s long past time they came around.

They can be proxies, given how N’Zoth in Ny’alotha is initially the size of a mountain that we have to brutalize our way through until we reach his core.

Yeah, but having a mini-me instead of a corrupt cultist with seven eyes, you know?

Each Old God turning up in person every Tuesday morning for their pre-scheduled void senior leadership meeting.

Could have done it on Teams to be honest.

or even their sizes in lore. yogg saron’s body spanned the lenght of northrend. cthuns was equally as large

This cinematic could have been an e-mail.

N’zoth: “Nothing from my team.”

Xal’atath being a void blob is a bit… disappointing of a reveal, but whatever. I guess “Void person who tried in hubris to usurp the weakest Old God and got bombed for it” works pretty well for her personality.

so what then, she’s some sort of void-demi-lord or something? looking like a regular void walker there lmao. imagine being an old-god like nzoth and your being gaslit by something a warlock would summon on a casual whim.

yshaarj aura farming at least is on point. the void goat indeed

We’re saved! It was just a very buggy PTR. After three hearth-flight backs to Stromgarde, it finally put me back into BFA phasing.

Hopefully it’ll be less problematic come launch! (I’m sure it will, I will mourn the more mob-less version of AH that came with this patch questline though)

No unique model for her “true” form is pretty sad to be honest.

maybe it might change before launch as that serves as a placeholder but im not holding my breath.

at this point the patch is coming off as a bad comedy.

upside at least is hearing my goat cho once again. god i missed the goatwalker
