It has some really nice descriptions. Like one talent in its tree claims that when an enemy dies, you rip the last piece of their soul and hurls it at nearby enemies.
In actuality, it just makes it so you do a bit of extra AoE damage to nearby enemies when one die. It has NO visual effect at all.
I love when my entire nature-ranger class becomes some Devs weird obsession ground with Dark Ranger (which is just a Shadowmancer with a bow, I will not hear arguments on this).
I just donât like the changes. I like Dark Ranger as it plays right now, particularly for MM, and would prefer they left it alone.
But yes, ever since the system was announced it was clear that taking niche concepts attached to specific races like the DR or the Sentinel and turning them into entire talent trees was going to create this problem.
Meanwhile priests didnât get any changes.
Still the class/spec with the most 2 point nodes (despite being promised by Blizzard that all specs would get 2 pointers removed significantly).
Still no clear distinction between Void eruption and Dark Ascenscion.
Still the least mobile class in the game ( I will unironically race change to a dracthyr so I can at least glide away).
Shadow word death (an execute) hitting people for 2-3 % of their hp and the user for 5%.
Look, most of the community cannot spell her name so it was just a matter of time until the lackadaisical attitude to her canon name reached the devs themselves.
That was a whole lotta nothing yappinâ for 1 minute and 30 seconds of highly-animated cinematic. Also feels a bitâŚodd? given that Xalâatath, last we saw, was getting devoured by the Magic from Alleria breaking the Dark Heart and then she just miraculously appears again with 0x issue (barring any additional campaign context).
Also this is the fifth time theyâve highlighted her high-res bare feet in a cinematic, yes I am keeping count because at some point it becomes:
It was the same with the Sniffen or whatever the hell those mole-people were called.
They didnât even try to disguise the sniffing fetish(you can even combine it with their barely disguised feet fetish now) until people got so anoyyed by it they had to add a toy to remove the sound of sniffing.
Also I need Azshara to smack Xalâatath back in her place and reminder her who the true Queen of Void Magics is, thank you very much.
Honestly watching that cinematic felt really out of place.
Like it was added really late in development because it is, as said, a nothingburger. Xala doesnât tease anything (except her feet) to the audience⌠And as a result the dialogue just feels really out of place.
Like they clearly wanted to leave with some deep message to the fans, but they just ran out of time figuring out what message that would be.
