Anyone tried it? How much did you clear?
I’m scared that pugs are full of ninjas so I’m kinda careful with joining random groups.

Cleared 8/10 this saturday. No douses yet. On shazzrah/firemaw pugs down rag i believe

EZ Clap I had less than 1 day /played at 60, I had been farming most of my heal pre BIS since 55. 3 talent points unspent. I saw World chat message for Ragnaros PUG, I asked if I could heal with my shadow-disc talents, I got in instantly, leader lied so we killed Executus first, he bugged and his chest did not appear so we got 0 loot. bliz quality btw. Then we one shot Ragnaros and I even got a chance to roll for T2 pants. EZ Clap
Most pugs should be able to clear all of it. There won’t be any ninjas.

Should be able to clear all and the leader’s reputation is on the line so as long as master loot is on I trust in it, and so far I haven’t been let down.

Joined a PuG MC last weekend, alot of first timers , almost none had their pre raid BiS items.
But some of us knew what to do , people listened and we downed all but garr , majordormo and rag! 7/10

About 2 hours and we cleared 6 bosses. Would’ve been more but at one point people went out to repair and our lock had no SSs…
In terms of simplicity and difficulty, bosses felt more like elaborate 5 man bosses rather than raid bosses at best and tank n spanks at worst.

10/10 MC + Onyxia down in pug every week.
Well, it’s not a “pure pug”, it’s a coopt raid with 2 different guilds completed with pug.
Requirements is :
- Lvl 60.
- Consumables (at least the bare minimum, we don’t expect Flask for example).
- Good gear, not full green with 1k8 HP. Pre-Raid BiS is a must but you don’t need a Full Pre-Raid BiS.
- Tank with Fire Resist Gear.
Loot rules is : Pattern and legendary reserved, loot are /roll and Head Of Onyxia is reserved to melee and tank.
I can understand you fear the ninja loot in raid, but frankly it happen rarely. If someone start to ninja with 40-man raid, you can be sure half of the raid will instantly leave and cry on World Chat in a “pure pug” raid. And if you don’t want to risk anything, go with a guild.
I pugged it 2 weeks ago, was a half guild run which seems to be the most common pug right now. Went really smooth, no wipes 8/10 due to no one being able to douse.
I wouldn’t worry about ninjaing, generally mats, legendaries and patterns are reserved anyway so you’d have to be an idiot to kill the whole group and lose your chances at being the “masterlooter” for the foreseeable future for 15 gold worth of loot.
