Nah, ever since Classic launched we have had scuffed expansions. SL and DF had 2 major patches post release and a lame recycled season. TWW, for good or for bad, is riping the band aid off and just straight out saying “3 seasons now going forward, deal with it”. Nothing to do with “the saga”.
This argument is valid the moment you remove all the ranked, fomo and competitive rewards and content from WoW. The game is not only about having fun, it is up to you to judge whether it is ok or not.
Personally I don’t mind competitive, fomo rewards out of my reach, let them exist if it means more players, bigger player base and in the end more development and funds for WoW we all love.
Let me guess another if you dont do mythic raiding you cant have these shiny items and also mythic raiders get more options then you do event gg blizzard another kick in the teeth to the majority of the player base and the mythic + players.
Well I’m certainly not asking for the best gear in the game.
I’m not competing with anyone. I just want stuff that’ll make me more powerful because that is fun for me. So it’s a scale, I suppose.
But even if you consider ‘rankings’ or ‘competition’, it’s just 3 items.
That’s not going to make 'all the difference.
And everyone can these items then; so everyone’s on an equal playing field in that regard.
So even with rankings and whatnot in mind, I don’t think it would matter all that much.
Ehhh no. If I can’t get them through LFR, I’m not going to get them.
I think you know by now, I want to queue for stuff.
I’m not looking for a group, I’m not making a group. I hate all of that enough to never want to do it.
Fair enough. But, honestly: Doesn’t the same apply to them too?
It’s the last season before a big reset in the next expansion. Let people have some fun in these last months.
Ignore people who claim you’re entitled or undeserving; they’re just unhappy individuals.
Events are supposed to be enjoyable, and this clearly shows that Blizzard is ignoring its player base by reintroducing the event exactly as it was in Season 2. They had the perfect system with the bronze bullion, but instead, they chose to implement a worse system that caters only to elite mythic raiders and WoW boosters.
Im gonna buy the new expansion in wow tokens i purchase from in game gold from now on so i dont feel like im wasting my own money
Exactly, I said this when they introduced the event in season 2. It’s like they held a team meeting with the goal of taking the successful bronze bullion system and asked, How do we make this system worse and unenjoyable for the majority of the player base?
Nah these people generally seem to want myth gear for 0 effort then cry bad game when they dont get. Ever wince df theyve been pushing for the over casualisation of wow
Is normal raid and LFR such a huge difference in difficulty? I don’t think so, only the method of group forming is a bit different. I still think people who want that Heroic track raid gear will get it np. I do not raid, only do LFR once for the rep/completion achievs, but in this case will just go and do one normal run through LFG to unlock the heroic rewards. Don’t think it will be a problem and quite possibly will be done quicker than queue time + LFR combined for completion of all raid wings. The following quests are easy 4 Mythics.
All this is doing is trying to force players into raids/m+ which they do not want to. They had the perfect system in DF season 4 why they had to change things i do not know, i do not get way some do not want others to get gear which is basically leveling gear in a few months.
They want people to buy boost so they can sell tokens it is that simple.
I understand, but is this argument really valid? What exactly do they gain by people moving from LFR to Normal, as these people will most likely just finish 1 run anyway to unlock the rewards and then complete the following quests in simple M+1s next weeks…?
More or less they even lose people raiding, as now they will complete the follow-up quests in M1+s and not in LFR at all…
Never liked classic realms honestly but if there demand for it they should have them, but the more you split community the less players are around that is not a good experience at all.
