Apart from nzoth and cara…
Nothing insane except the trinkets ofc.
If its so minimal, why youre still 8/12?
What makes you think that raiders did not spend a shload of time getting the same amount of echoes?
160+ 15’s or bigger with my main, count the hours + the raiding hours.
still, he jumped to 2400 way easier someone can jump to 10/12 mythic or to 2500 rio.
I see you don’t understand it, your statement here is simply not true.
My friend returned after a break to his holy priest, after 1 week he has multiple +15 clears in time, he has mythic raid kills with pugs and he admittedly didn’t even watch a video about the raid, he had no idea what to do and they weren’t even on discord.
Atm his 2s arena mmr is a bit above 2200, he might be able to get to 2300ish if he practices a bit more, the same doesn’t apply to his pve career as he’s already clearing max reward dungeon/raid content WHILE not even scratching 2400 in arena.
Once more, content now is outgeared
The difficulty has nothing to do with what it was in the beginning of the season.
Lower dps
No corruptions
Low stamina
Also dont forget that cara and n’zoth drops highest ilvl gear in the game that isnt obtainable anywhere else.
Bringing n’zoth fight and CE to this topic is a bit off dont you think?
Dismissing the issues with current PvP gearing because select people use hyperbole is not giving the impression of chipping in on the discussion in good faith.
Besides trolling, not sure what the message you’re conveying is supposed to accomplish.
Do you wish people for just to lie down and accept the current status quo?
I have no good faith towards PvP players to be honest, for all I care PvP could stay this unbalanced and drop 380 gear
No, not really.
But a thread like this is just a flamebait-y “wahh wahh PvE is so easy getting one (most likely) useless item from m+ every week is too good wahh wahh” while raid gearing is way more broken for the amount of effort put it (depending on your class and spec )
TLDR; No, PvP players should complain but not in the way OP ended up doing it.
I only have 4 timed +15 keys because I don’t need to time keys? I get the same loot even if the key gets depleted which proves how dumbed down the rewarding system for PvE is.
Notice how it’s the PvE players that turned this thread into a “pve easy pvp hard” thread. The thread was originally about the difficulty of PvE content not being linear with the reward. But all you rio heroes get mad when we criticize how easy pve players have it.
+15s were easy enough even first week of the patch, compared to the gear level they reward. We timed +15 first week with 8.2 gear. The reward is not proportioned to the difficulty. I feel like they should cap the gear at +20, and also if you fail the timer the ilvl drop should decrease based on how much overtime it was.
Highest ilvl gear should not be for everyone.
I mean, flamebaiting, I suppose it is, but depending on how you approach the whole thing about what constitutes as ‘broken’ gearing, m+ does provide a much easier access to high-end gear, at greater volumes, with a much easier access to boosts at a lower minimum ilevel threshold, in comparison to PvP at least.
I will agree though, that the pieces you obtain from Nya are the bigger issue, since they’re pretty mandatory, and don’t really have an equal or nigh-equal substitute from any other type of content.
The solution for PvP gearing woes, imo, is still the separation of PvP and PvE gear, because the 2 can’t be conjoined in a manner that will make both sides equally viable.
Won’t happen in BfA, the best they could do for PvP gearing right now would be to nerf Nya trinkets, ease access to Vita and add more variety in the selection of secondary stats in PvP gear. Everything beyond that feels like it’s better left for SL.
It’s kind of stupid how it becomes a ‘PvP community vs PvE community’-issue in all of these threads, when the discussion should be about how to fix the underlying gearing systems, not which camp one belongs in.
Would also say that people should also maybe detach their ego a bit more from their preferred type of content.
