And what is you native language once again?
Swedish. What about it?
Unexpected
I thought that northen europe have already left behind “their letters are filthy hieroglyphs, take them away from me”-mentality, leving it to Poland, Hungary, Ukraine etc.
By the way… is my English good enough to be allowed to play with real europeans and their true romanian letters? Please?
Funny. Except it doesn’t even touch upon the real issues. And no, there are no cyrillic letters in Scandinavia. At all. We like it that way. So piss off.
Sure, pay the real subscription fee and roll a character on a proper EU realm instead. Nothing is stopping you, except for the lower average wage in Russia.
I’m trying not to imply that you actually have some real issue, but without success.
Going to live on with that i suppose.
W/e that is supposed to mean.
But as per tradition, I’ll write out your name too, and show just how messed up it is to try and read it as a person who doesn’t read cyrillic (which is most of the world, and most of Europe): 3encTapnep
Yep, that sure is fun to target call in a BG.
So… THAT is your problem? THAT is why you keep flooding this thread with screen-sized posts? That you can’t easily adress your teammates?
And for that you demand to separate region of, like, 5 servers (3 servers worth by population)?
I get it, thanks.
Of course it isn’t the “only problem”. You’d know that, if you had actually bothered reading everything.
See, you’re trying to play the victim card here. Nobody really cares about your nationality. What people care about are equal chances in regards to group forming and pvp. Some russian players are abusing the queue mechanics, some of them used scripted interrupts back in legion and wod, some can’t or just won’t speak proper English. It’s not like it is an isolated incident. It happens on a daily basis. So if you wanna be salty, be salty towards your countrymen who are ruining your reputation.
You forgot to mention the infamous Russian hacker Forchan
Oh, you wanna talk about an infamous Russian hacker? Let’s talk about Grappler then, shall we?
Grappler/Grappling (his name had something to do with grappling) was a r1 rdruid in MoP, WoD and Legion, infamous in that rating range, and you could even see him on stream by those same players, flyhacking constantly.
Flyhacking was his thing. That’s what he was infamous for.
Happy now?
Cdew got some vids up on youtube of Russian players flyhacking, while he was playing on EU servers, if you want some “proof”. Search youtube for things like “Russians cheating in WoW” and so on as well, there are quite a lot of vids to choose from.
Then imagine the many more that nobody bothered to record and upload.
It’ll make you depressed, if you care at all about your national pride.
…and you actually mentioned it. Yay.
lmao, everyone else do that, at least on EU for sure
The only problem is that like 70-80% of the current russian players population play on Firemaw (Пламегор) server but most of the people on EU aren’t aware of that
F for Reckful
Sure the alliance did that at the very beginning, but they no longer can.
On your server prob
Except that isn’t what census projects are showing. Nor is it what you yourself said earlier:
Your numbers seem kinda… unreliable, to say the least?
It’s popular, for sure. Just not as popular as you’re making it out to be, when compared to the other Russian realms. You’re literally saying it’s between 2/3rds and 4/5ths of the population as a whole all on one server, which just isn’t what census projects are showing.
^ This is supported more by what census projects are showing.
Are you new to the forum? To the EU servers? Alliance haven’t been able to run the premades, because the success rate plummeted after the 2nd hotfix came into effect.
Basically while it wasn’t “impossible”, it was just so improbable to get enough of a premade into the same AV that they called it quits and moved on over to AB and WSG.
Russian realms on the other hand, for reasons explained here:
were still left able to run their premades after the hotfixes. Because the pool is already small enough to make it possible, so the artificial way the hotfixes makes the pool “larger”, isn’t proportionally enough to disable the premade exploits in the Russian matchmaking pool.
Neat, right?
That doesn’t mean “any time you see more than 5 people from the same server” that it’s a premade doing the exploit. Don’t misunderstand. But as mentioned here:
there are plenty of reasons to suspect overly coordinated behavior and much higher gear average than usual, when it’s a big bulk of Russian players that’s larger than the 5-man limit.
Get it?
When you think of the reasons why those hotfixes doesn’t prevent it in the small Russian matchmaking pool, it’s kinda messed up. It was a “solution” crafted in their NA headquarters in California, with their NA player base as the model for it as per usual.
But since EU has that weird half-in half-out inclusion instead of a full exclusion of the Russian realms, it instead creates this mess where those same “solutions” doesn’t necessarily work.
They might as well remove all xrealm and let people do the premade exploits where you can only face players from your own server. That’s how ineffective those hotfixes are on small matchmaking pools.
/yawn
/okay
Excluding the Russian realms doesn’t solve this supposed problem so I don’t know why people keep suggesting it. It just makes it someone else’s problem.
