How about we do it the right way? Add resilience on the pvp gear. Why make it harder than it has to be

stop those global reductions and do proper PvP balance by nerfing runes

NERF Shamans and Spriest in PvP now!!!

Add damage reduction to pets aswell this time please…

SL is gonna be so bugged cuz blizz devs don’t know how to code thoses things

Classic “you don’t like it go away”.
If you went to the restaurant and on the entrance was the sign “its a test restaurant” - you gonna be okey to eat $hit in it only because of the sign? You don’t know it is $hit, it has a shape of a cake. You tried it and you felt bad, but it’s ok, because they had a video 1 year ago about how this restaurant gonna be a test…

Are you upset due to the fact you dident understand the devs from the beginning and trying to reflect that or are you just upset becuase you dident know and already put in alot of time on it?

Its your responsibility, you choose to play here, you could have gotten more info about this and knew what the devs said about it, even Aggrend said on twitter / X its an experiement.

It is sod,not classic.
Why people want to turn sod into classisc while classic servers already exist?

Blanket nerfs are bad, doesnt fix the classes/specs. Mages going to be garbage.

So you gonna eat this “cake” because it’s experiment, right?
There’s a huge difference between experimenting like giving people spells from different expansions and freaking BETA TESTS every week.
If there’s a large multibillion company making an experiment - it put some expectations on this experiment, you can’t just say “oh this is experiment so we can do whatever we want to”, it stupid and you know that, stop trying to find any excuses.

Well, I appreciate the fact you’re trying to balance the mess PvP is, especially since you finally understand that the only way to make SoD work is by providing a decent PvP scene. Otherwise it’s simply raid logging 2h/week.
BUT, you won’t have any success by reducing all damage equally, even by nerfing heals of the same amount. This isn’t going to fix the class imbalance.

Your main mistake here has been to make too many phases before hitting level 60.
Phase 3 should have been the phase to hit 60, you would have been able to fine-tune runes and specs for good and the pvp scene would have seen some balance.
I loved SoD, being able to come back to classic with a twist, discover and rediscover new classes has been a blast but you’re dragging things out for too long.
And the fact that you’re still testing new ways to slow down the PvP meta means that you’re nowhere near buffing/nerfing the classes that need it so we’ll be stuck with an on and off bursty meta for at least 2 more month and P4.
At that point I’ll just stop playing and come back for p4. As mentionned above, playing alpha/beta testers is fine for a few weeks but after a while we’d like to play a finished and somewhat balanced game.

excited for the testing. woop woop! i think u found the right balance there.

I wont complain till i tested the adjustments, but

why do meeles get 20% damage reduction and casters 30%?

Cause BGs?
