PvP Damage Reduction Test #3 - 10 May

Last weekend’s PvP play went well, so we’re going again starting today, with one adjustment.

This weekend we’re increasing the healing reduction to 30%, which means it will stack with Mortal Strike to a 65% healing protection for 10 seconds after taking damage.

We’ll turn the adjusted PvP aura on at 19:00 CEST.

Only healing reducting or dmg reduction too?
If yes, whats dmg reduction %? Same as before, 20%?

Berny says NO! Enough with the global auras, Kaivax mon.

Most pvp-related issues be caused by 2 classes alone.
Berny proposes simple solutions:

  1. Nerf shamans; especially enhancement by reducing damage and survivability

  2. Nerf shadow priests’ survivability

  3. Nerf boomie starfire but buff other spells

  4. Nerf rogue mutilate but buff other attacks

Global reduction auras be only makin stronger classes stronger.

Stop those tests, are you trying to destroy SOD for Real?

Stop all those PvP global reduction and start to do proper class balance.

WE understand you dont want to nerf shamans because you guys are playing shamans, but at least admit it

Plz dont do these auras. Better just give shamans to alience and palas to horde it will make more sense

This is not okay, Pvp is so boring now. All about who brings the most healers. Tbh think this was the last straw for this idiotic dev fun project game. effjuu

You know what they say, 3 times the charm of Blizz just sucking so badly to fix the PvP.
This has nor will not solve any issues, if you believe it will fix anything, you are delusional as heck Blizzard.

Start doing surgical class nerfs you disgusting apes, starting with Shaman and Rogues, then Priests, Druids and then finally WLock/Mage.
Not the hardest thing to do, you just MAKE it hard by not doing anything but implementing a stupid reduction that applies to ONLY PvP to bandaid fix absolutely NOTHING. .

What a terrible test. Healers already feel borderline useless in PvP with this damage change. What is this test, actually testing, when it’s quite clear you’ve already got all the data you need to actually implement something. This weekend is going to be abysmal to play with up to a 90% healing reduction and no change to damage. The game is hemorrhaging players at the moment, and you’ve just made this weekend feel even more atrocious.

The fact you’ve not even deviated from last weeks healing change, shows the lack of emphasis in “testing” anything. You just want to glory hunt to look like you’re doing something.

tbh, 30% dmg reduction and 10% heal reduction would be reasonable. Also dmg from shaman is just ridiculous. Just faced 9 shamens and all instant chain lightening our whole team, what a joke of balance

Test your mother, farewell b****es, all of you GM ruined so bad this game! So you won, -1 subscription!I was stoped WoW for very long time, SoD turn me back to WoW, and after the whole mess which you created, now will bringing me out forever. But you can feel it better already right?! Empty and dead servers, bugs everywhere, destroyed content. I’m really wondering, why you think when selling boringness and you will keep alive this game? Guess what you can’t! One advice, go and beg on knees to the old creators of the game to come back and to create again something good! Your youngling team CAN’T, because you do not have ideas, and also not listening the players, you trying to even decide in which realm the players should play, instead of them! Your end is so close and you should smell it already! It is smell on Indian team failure and this will drag whole company down!

The problem is not in sod team
The problem is the team is too small and they have basicly no time and resources to do both cata and sod. This is managers fault and shareholders

Doesn’t matter which fault is, we are the customers which paying money for finished product, not for the tests. When teh can’t manage it, closed down and we will find another game. Because this is scam in the full power of the word! When someone go to buy a car, nobody telling him “ok, take the car, but we will continue developing the car during you drive it”. I remember the time when Blizzard were small team too, but they managed to creat good games, to respond fast on the bug tickets, and the content were intrested and slowly given. Everything start to running down in the moment when Activision took them! And also Cata is made from long time ago and they no need to change or create something there, everything is copy paste.
