So, I got a quick question concerning mage gear comparison, how far behind is the blue pvp gear for mages vs bwl gear in terms of “important stats” iam also including rep rewards here from the bgs (eg spell power sword etc)
I guess my question is, If I go up against another mage (exact same skill w/e) with almost only blue pvp parts like up to rank 9 and including some rep rewards from bgs vs a mage with almost full bwl gear, will he wipe the floor with me?
its 2 completly different playstyles, 8/8 t2 is a different meta entirely relying on set bonus to have instant cast fb and sacrificing stam for more damage, while pvp set is more stam oriented. i’ve seen 8/8 t2 melt bwl bis ele sham in an imp cs into tidal

The bonus is 23 spell damage … a Mage will not destroy you in damage metters if you have regular BWL gear.
The Mage who have lucky crit or flask or world buff will destroy you. Crit make the difference, 23 spell damage doesn’t make any difference at all.
Don’t be desesperate because you can’t get PvP blue gear as a Mage.
