After doing PVP pet battle for days to get access to the secret pet vendor, I discovered rather disappointed that PVP pet battle wins do not award anything. No pets you can acquire this way, no level or rarity stone, no charms nothing…
As of now that I’ve got to the secret vendor, I feel no incentive to do more PVP pet battles. Please make lvl 25 battles award at least stones or charms.
There’s no achiev for that ?
For me in real PvP Farming honorable kills is enought fun to get rewarded by achievement.
The achievements you can get are extremely hard as there is a “meta” in pvp pet battles. Most achievements want you to use 3 pets of the same family to win, which is… unreasonable. The other wants you to win 10 battles without letting even one pet die, which is EXTREMELY unreasonable in the current meta.

I just did 2 or 3 to get “Shadowbarb Drone” mount and I was lucky to not level up my larva to level 2 
I wouldnt do pet battles again! Pls, dont add them to any mount farm in Shadowlands!
Not hard just time consuming
The current meta is team damage. If you simply change pets at lets say 50%, the enemy pet will kill them while they are in your back line. I’ve never played any match where all pets of one team survived.
The only rewarding content is raids and mythic+. If you don’t play the game with this in mind you will be disappointed.
You do PVE content, you get PVE rewards. In this case gear.
You do PVP content, you used to get PVP gear, now you get PVE gear.
You do Pet Battle content (on the highest possible level) and you get no Pet Battle reward?
I wrote a long analysis of this issue long ago. Probably lost with the old forums.
The TL;DR of the “What?” is that PvP pet rewards were well suited to the content back in Mists, when Pet Battles were introduced. Since then, the inflation in PvE rewards has been crazy. It makes the PvE game a joke, IMNSHO. But there has been no change at all in the PvP Weekly reward over the last 7 years.
The TL;DR of the “Why?” is that the devs don’t really know what to do with pet PvP. This is a long and complicated subject. It has been discussed among those who participate in pet PvP. and after it all, I don’t know what to do with it either, so I’m not blaming the devs. We do all agree that simply giving fancy rewards is not the right answer. (Though most of us do think that the Weekly deserves at least bringing into line with an equivalent time spent on dungeons and world quests.)
The game director and the team do not consider pet battles as content worthy for any rewards so you shouldn’t be surprised. Since some time now, there is only only one correct way to play wow and pet battles are not included.
This type of mindset will make sure that PVP stays dead…

You can get this one by just pet battling with a friend though.
Spent around 40 mins hopping in and out of the finder. Managed to get paired twice. Gave up soon after.
No, I mean, that achievement doesn’t require you to do it through find pet battle tool. You can just do pet battles with a friend and win easily.

How about PvP Pet Battle Tokens.
5 per win, 1 per loss.
With these, the costs for normal pet battle items, such as the flawless pet battle stone, would be half the cost from the shiny pet stones.
Additonal Rewards:
Win % number, PvP Master Battler Mount.
Win % number, PvP Master Battler Pet.
Win % number, PvP Master Battler Tabard.
Win % number, PvP Master Battler Toy.
These are only examples, and may hopefully encourage more players to give it a go. As a returning player, I may start on the 11th when the bonus event takes place.
That is all I want. An alternative grinding to collect and level battle pets.
