I assume that they are trying hard but simply cant do it. Why do I believe that? Recent post about 100k banned US gold farm accounts (that apparently made no difference) and the rest is goodwill. I don’t think i am naïve but who knows …
Nevertheless, in a short while classic will have changed so much, i won’t play either way. Just got out of a BWL GDKP. Perfectly executed by some Chinese raidleader. I made 600g, got outbid on an item (2k vs 2.2k - remember the days when 2k was a fortune?). To my calc the raid lead team made 5k of their cut.
That is the classic pve of today. It is so far from what classic ever was … not sure it can ever recover. I for one won’t do it again. It feels like a soulless grind.
Next patch i will go 100% pvp getting my 3 chars to R14 organizing or joining premades. And that will be ERA for me, no PvE anymore

Yeah I agree, the old days are gone. Probably forever. The game is still the same but the playerbase is different. And we can’t really change that. If people keep buying gold/xp etc someone will provide to meet the demand.
As a matter of principle I refuse to partake in GDKP etc because that is just laundring the dirty botgold really. But no matter how hard I try to resist this phenomenom I still partake indirectly in the sense that when I vendor items etc on AH, the bot-gold inflation ends up giving me higher sell prices so the dirty gold ends up in my pockets as well…
It’s a shame but I have come to realize that the old days are gone. Vanilla isn’t about the journey anymore, it’s about buying everything with real money. Such a shame really because imo it’s one of the best games ever made.
Idk if something actually happened as a result, but I did report someone that I thought was bot farming last week and a few days later I got an in game mail saying that following a report actions had been taken. They don’t go into specifics but it was the only person I’d reported so I assume it was from that, but, as I said, idk if something actually happened though.
Why do you bring 9 or 24 other people with you into a raid instance?
It makes it so unbalanced for the bosses when they get killed by you every time.
Go in alone like a man and 1v1 the raid boss instead mate.
Bruh if you’ve played this game for close to TWO DECADES and you cannot find 9 other people to queue up with you, the problem might be closer than you realize.
it doesn’t give you the right to ruin bg’s for other ppl or destroy their HPH. but blizz should implement a different queue so your premates can ONLY face other premates in that way you have intense matches, an absolute win…(or is it? )
Tbh its classic wow, this game is ment to be unbalance in purpose, and thats why ppl play it to abuse/exploit the unbalance ether be it pvp or premades or whatever… take that away from them and they will stop playing, look alliance for example for 2 years str8 from 19-21 they refused to play AV because win was not for granted, now they play only AV because after the AV changes and P6 paladins have become OP and they can exploit it along with the premade, and they now refuse to play any other bg, break that for them and they will boycott whole game, or perhaps they will go premade vs randoms in other bgz, thats how game is and besides uk what? I havent seen any horde complaining while we been winning for 2 years str8 after AV premades was banned, yet allies complained, now they dont because they win by default, and horde doesnt, while we had 99% win rate for 2 years str8. Again this game is not ment for balance as ppl say… “I am better than you at this game because i got more friends that you do playing it” there no balance to be found there. 2 options you ether exploit and win and have fun being aware you abuse the situation, or if you cant and you cant tolerate it you just quit instead being lose forced just coz. I for once i dont have a personal heal bot to follow me i just play solo and whatever happens if i notice game is no fun for me and only fun for the others ill just quit playing ^^ and play something that is just fun for me :D.
