Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race - 2024 (Part 1)

But they are actualy not in northrend

And tomorrow (midnight) they are closed to sunwell (silverthing new lodge), they are in the city (Silvermoon) and also 1km from sunwell

Why would they not assimilate to sin dorei?

Because vereesa lost her husband because of a war bombing?

On the outset - was their any difference between Night Elf Mages and Nightborne?

Huge

Lore, body look, arcanes use, culture, buildings etc

That doesn’t make any sense.

They’re hooked up to the Sunwell which is Light/arcane. Furthermore, there isn’t such a thing as Frost Magic. Frost spells by Mages are them using the arcane to create frost spells, and Death Knight frost is probably sourced from the Shadowlands (the Winter Queen).

And yes, the difference between Night Elf Mages and the Nightborne is the ten thousand years of separation and drinking from the Nightwell.

All these “differences” and " similarities" are all subjective to how one chooses to view the lore.

I mean, some of the reasons why so many Night Elf fans were against Nightborne joining the Horde was because they were just like Blood Elves.

No its not subjective…

And you often talk about crystalsong

  1. the forest isnt about arcane magic? Then again if arcanes racials are based on arcanes as BE so exactly the same

  2. this place is about Highborns not HE

Our ancestors yes but not HE

The forest isn’t about Arcane Magic?

That forest screams even more Arcane Magic than Suramar Forest and Eversong Forest combined!

Of which High Elves are known to have held a presence.
And the Highborne…are all hostile ghosts and have since been laid to rest

I know… it was rethorical…

If arcanes then same actual racials than BE… so no reason to add them as playable

Remember i asked you “how” add them not “why”

Bliz cant copy past a race just based on politics

Arcane racials are irrelevant since Nightborne also have an Arcane racial.

I think the argument against is more about looks > anything else, which is fine, but “looks” aren’t everything.

So many people said that Blood Elves and Nightborne were essentially the same, on the overall outset

Ok i ll be more accurate…

Tomorrow, midnight, HE and BE will live together in Silvermoon

Do you agree?

At this point, at this moment

During 2 years HE will live near to the sunwell as BE

Whats gonna make them enough different to justify devs to add them as playable race?

We are all enough intelligent to state that its not enough to add a race only based on politics differences (i hope HE fanatics are)

No - because Silvermoon should be Blood Elf only.
Those High Elf Pilgrims have never made any impact on the story or narrative or anything since Quel’Delar.

That’s why - if we are serious about wanting playable High Elves…then playable High Elves are void of anything and everything, Blood Elf.

EDIT:
Look, I don’t think playable High Elves are going to happen now, personally. Not in the most sensible way and ONLY way which makes sense. I think customisation for Void Elves is the only route to go down.

I disagree, there are subjective interpretations but on matters such as these there are objective facts.

Nightborne have ended up very different from Night Elves for example. Personally I wouldn’t have added them, but I object to the entire allied race system for devaluing what new races are. But we are where we are.

Which of course is a contradiction. It is akin to saying you want new playable Humans who need to be void of anyhting even remotely Human.

You can’t differentiate High Elves from Blood Elves because Blood Elves ARE High Elves. That is why Void Elves were created in the first place. There is a reason they are such a posterior pull.

Well you can…I’ve already listed one method they can go down, which basically doesn’t involve Quel’Thalas or the Blood Elves in any way.

But…it’s obviously not going to happen.

Maria has already stated that the Quel’dorei will hold some involvement in this union, but I reckon it will just be some sort of peace treaty between Blood Elves of the Horde and High Elves of the Alliance, whereby the latter remain at Silverglade Refuge

It’s not a copy. It’s an entire new species. That’s like saying Nelfs are Velfs. Besides they don’t come with any baggadge. Dwarves are dwarves, earther are earthen. No such distinction between helfs and belfs. Not to mention that if that were to happen you helf types will demand Silvermoon to be given to you since you’ll claim you are the legitimate elves and we really don’t need another reason for you people to suffer and weep all over the forums.

She didnt say its gonna lead to playable HE…

Its just another silver covenant npcs and stories since TbC

You mentioned frost magic, which I pointed out didn’t exist.

And if this expansion involves the narrative retirement of the Alliance High Elves, I can live with that, though their mass conversion to Void Elves (as mass as such a low population group can be) would be preferable.

That’s the High Elf fanatics which I don’t align myself to.

I don’t want High Elves anywhere near Silvermoon. It’s the absolute wrong move because Silvermoon has moved beyond the times when Sylvanas was Ranger General and Anasterian was High King.

But - we do have those people which scream the loudest which are still in denial about what Midnight has showcased.
Some have taken their retirement from this topic…the most deluded, because they knew that their requests were so unreasonable that it hurt to read them.

Now, I’m glad that they’ve gone and we can start on rationale debate.

Not from what we can take from Maria Hamilton’s comments about it, as it was brought up.

The Quel’dorei will be involved as part of the reason why the Elves are divided.

Never said it did…but they are involved.

They aren’t gone. And you not aligning yourself with them does not mean they won’t be making their dumb demands regardless. I’m honestly curious why you people just won’t let this go. I mean they gave you more options to play your alliance belf fantasy over and over, I mean crap, you even get to dance around Silvermoon without the guards stomping you. What the hell more do you want?

Kaiine

I appreciate you but you have to admit that

Monday : you re HE fan
Friday : you re BE fan
Sunday : kaiine become darkfallen

Etc…

And yes you re not a HE fanatic but you re 1% among the 9% of the quel dorei.

99% of HE (who are 9% of the quel dorei) dream about doing a coup d etat - putsh and claim the city. They have dreams to see blue and lions banners in Silvermoon City. Led by the Terrorist Silver covenant

There is a word for that

A group of rebel terrorists

If there’s a reasonable sliver, then I’ll make the suggestions…but I don’t think they’ll come now.

The best we can hope for is the customisation for Void Elves

Because I’m both a HE and BE Fan. I’ve never shied away from being a fan of both and loving both races for what they represent and the politics behind the decisions they’ve made.
