Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race - 2024 (Part 1)

High elves are a race for nostalgia shills who can’t stand the idea of any elves that aren’t friends with humans in classical tolkien writing.

High elf fans also like to ignore Wracraft 3 which was indeed the defining factor of current elves and why Quel’thalas decided to leave the alliance for good.

You don’t need to publicly announce that you block people. Nobody asked and nobody cares that your fee fee’s get hurt over a video game discussion

I just chose this character for my forum avatar because I don’t actively play on it lmao

Or just a race for people who really liked Warcraft 2 and then, when they heard about World of Warcraft, hoped to play an Elven Archer / Ranger on the alliance side. It’s really not that difficult or complex. But go on, keep making blanket statements and assumptions if you think it helps your case. :man_shrugging:

That’s another strawman, nobody ignores or denies the existence of the Blood Elves or their story. Still, it’s a very stupid argument, because it goes both ways; maybe- just for once - use your own logic:

Why do you like to ignore that Blizzard keeps confirming the existence of Quel’dorei in WoW, in the Alliance, even in Midnight?

Which you can already have thanks to void elves having now normal skin options which looks identical to high elf NPCs.

Once again:

Oh the allaince NPCs crap talking the Horde is nothing new for sure. more confirmation o alliance bias while I can’t even talk back to them. Has been happening since MOP in SoO when the alliance player could insult Vol’jin with no consequences.

A change of the goalpoast and not an answer to my question. And most likely, also the reason why people don’t support you in your threads.

You’re not debating, you’re not arguing, you’re not even trying to convince people or face actual arguments or fallacies.

the High Elf NPCs in Midnight have nothing to do with the playable race but Blizzard telling the Horde palyers how much they hate them for merley existing. Happens all the time and Horde fans are angry. I saw the dialouge on Portergauge and man Blizzard isn’t hiding their favoritism anymore.

Ignoring Warcraft 2 I still don’t see a good reason to not get high elves. They have quite an interesting backstory and have ton of story potential going forward or are we seriously going to pretend that Earthen, Mechagnomes or Void Elves have a more interesting story? Most people probably don’t even understand the Earthen story. I mean I don’t and I’ve played TWW campaign multiple times. It’s just so uninteresting

Honestly I have a hard time understanding why anyone would argue against high elves. Why do people get so personally offended about getting a cool new race?

Because high elf fans are annoying little creatures who only making their demands heard by telling blood elf fans they want to steal everything they currently have because the race itself is 100% identical apart from the eye color. Anyhting the high elves gain in the lore will be doing so by taking it away from the other elf race that been here since 2007. It was never about the race for the high elf crowd it is about the faction. That is the real discourse eve if they make up dishonest lies.

People want faction war.

Add a race from the opposite action with a claim to a territory, that could result into a faction war.

“Not like that”

What are you even talking about? The next expansion is all about the blood elves and the sunwell and they’ve remastered your entire zone. What do you mean that attention will be taken away from you?

And if you hate High Elves so much why don’t you hate Void Elves equally? They’re the exact same model, animations, customization as blood elves except they’re void-infused high elves instead of just being pure high elves

Because the average void elf fans isn’t demanding that SMC becomes blue.

Which is about to turn neutral and no longer the blood elf starter zone we used to fell in love with.

The problem with high elves is that they’re not a cool new race.

Theyre blood elves but on the alliance. Theyre void elves without the racial proc.

Both factions have them already essentially.

So for the vast majority of players, it’s not a new race, it’s what they have already repackaged and sold back to them.

Also essentially this yes. They are not new. They are faction swapped Sin’dorei who instead of forming a kind of independant partnership with races who actually aided them when they needed the help the most became the biggest cheerleaders of humanity.

You have the portal to visit the old area.

So you’re happy that we get new races like void elves with weak lore lacking their own zones and identity just so your elf race has the most interesting zone? lmao

Again, are you really unhappy that your elf zone is becoming “less unique”? It doesn’t even make sense for silvermoon to be aggressive against the alliance since the blood elves are literally just high elves

Your argument basically boils down to “muh race must be #1

Why don’t you get to Teldrassil? All you need to do is to talk to Ziridormi.
