That is how neutral races work yes. Once both sides have them the one with the larger community support becomes the dominant race. Happened so with humans too.
So you’re arguing that High Elves are more popular than Blood Elves now? What?
The question wasn’t why it happened, but that it happened, therefore your argument went both ways - since you were “ignoring” the HE/VE story beats in order to make your point. Cherry-picking, like always.
If anything, you could learn from that. If you have good arguments, if you convince people to come together and be vocal - Blizzard might actually hear you. Still, your tactic is (and always has been) to make everything about your own wishes, personally attacking those who disagree with you and making blanket statements instead of actually trying to convince people.
I would also be fine with that - as I said, I’m quite happy with the compromise so far - and with the VE Paladin on the horizon and the cool transmog sets in Midnight, I’m even happier. ![]()
This.
Well, for some players it’s more of a “I don’t want others to get what they want, so I can make fun of them!”, instead of a "I really fear that it might have bad implications for the story." And from years of experience, even though he claims to “speak for the Horde”, Erevien has never shown much interest for the wishes of other players (hence the Ad-hominems).
What the other side wants would make the race I enjoy activley suffer.
The Horde been mistreated ever since BFA ended. I can quote various platforms and famous players on this who saw the same thing.
Can you explain how?
Please, tell me in detail, how did the uncorrupted Void Elf skins make the Blood Elves suffer so far? Which ailments have risen since they have joined the Alliance?
Yes, the Horde really got screwed, for years now - no argument there!
STILL - NOT THE POINT I WAS MAKING! AND ALSO NOT WHAT WE WERE DISCUSSING! ![]()
- if the alliance takes over silvermoon the blood elves become homeless.
- if Umbric gains enough power Rommath will die.
- Alliance having two DH races while horde only is locked to blood elves
- Vereesa might tries to squirm herselves in to replace Halduron
- Amani being a neutral race while high elves stay alliance locked ignores basic history. Remember when you argued Warcraft 2? Same thing for Forest Trolls but with reversed roles.
those are the worst case scenarios I can think of right now.
This is so nonsensical. I don’t think anyone is arguing that blood elves should be genocided and replaced by high elves in silvermoon
Ever since the bfa false flag cinematic trailer I stopped trusting blizzard full stop.
Once again:
As if you really believed that Blizzard updates Silvermoon and Quel’thalas to then make all Blood Elves homeless.
Just because of that vision?
They said that they are aware of the imbalance, so… they will balance it at some point during Midnight / TLT.
Judging by that presale picture, Alleria would more likely to take on his mantle.
In the beginning. Blizzard confirmed that Trolls will (at least) get the skin colors, so it’s pretty safe to assume that they will join the Horde during Midnight.
It’s not actually imbalance. The Horde has a greater option of class-race combinations. So far, we know that VElf DHs, KT Paladins and VElf Paladins are coming. Which would bring some equilibrium to the factions in terms of class parity.
Back in Cataclysm Beta, Rommath was meant to be a Twilight Cultist, and attempt a coup against Lor’themar. The quest didn’t make it into the game though on release. But it might be re-iterated upon in Midnight, I suppose.
I dont know how to hide spoilers so sorry about that for anyone that cares. Let me know if you know how and I’ll do it.
But what makes me think the sunwell is going to go part void permanently is both the similarities between when it went light. We’ve got another dead naru at the well. And then apparently the last chapter of the max level story is called the dawn of a new well.
Meh I tried to follow the instructions XD
DHs are a hero class. that should be equal.
Literally nothing points into Rommath being evil all of the sudden. All beef players have with him is being mean to the alliance.
Just put
in front of your text and then [ /spoiler] after it.
As far as I know, one of the previous chapters is already called “The dark well”, which could suggest that in the end, the well might change for a third time.
I’d rather see Aethas’ swan song. Rommath was one of the few competent Horde characters in the Purge of Dalaran.
You have to start every single paragraph with
and end it with
He’s the primary reason the Sunwell is nearly overwhelmed. He ended up crippling Quel’thalas’ ability to respond to Void threats by expelling all of the researchers that were looking into combatting it. I think that’s a pretty good indication of it. Furthermore, it takes the Void Elves returning to save Silvermoon by providing the Blood Elves with a means of reaching the Voidstorm.
Also, before you argue that the Void research undertaken by VElves was a danger to the Sunwell, keep in mind that: A. The Sunwell ends up summoning a VElf to its defense. B. Void Elves don’t actually mind the Light nearly as much as people think they do. And C. As of Midnight, the Sunwell reacting to Alleria wasn’t owed to her being a Void Elf, but rather, L’ura reacting to M’uru.
I’m not saying it will occur, but surely you will agree that there’s hints of sabotage from the Grand Magister of Quel’thalas.
Him being snarky over the void elves was a valid concern. This is just wishful thinking of high elf fans yet again who hate every elf who isn’t bootlicking Stormwind. Like it is liteally in the Nightborne intro when Alleria alone almost makes the well turn in an instant. And something Lor’themar agreed with upon when Umbric first got banished.
That’s likely something that would happen. But also, here’s another counter-point. What if the Well just turns back into its natural Arcane state - and therefore allows Void Elves to connect as well?
We know that Great Beyond (plane where Azeroth is, and therefore, Arcane too) was generated by Void and Light melding together. My interpretation is that L’ura and M’uru will just cancel one another out in the fight. Either that, or what you yourself are arguing will occur.
I highly doubt that they’ll destroy the Sunwell however, as some people fear.
I hadn’t considered the possibility of no light in the well.
Guess i just considered it too fundamental to the blood elves to change at this point but theoretically there’s nothing to say it couldn’t happen
Coming from an orc pet. How quaint.
Umbric will have something for Rommath.
If Umbric kills Rommath that proves he is an enemy of Quel’thalas.
