What is your problem exactly? It is a darn fact that the elves are a race on the brink of dying out after the real genocide.
I hope they add an Inn NPC in the Silverglade refuge so we can set our Hearthstone there. Should be an inn there as it has beds and a table in the middle at the large building.
Still wish they had updated Silver Hippogryphon. I mean they already have a HD model back from prepatch of Battle for Azeroth. They could just change colors of the Teldrassil Hippogryphon to silver metal and blue white color or match it with Vereesas new tabard color. Its strange the devs didn’t even know the Silver covenant have a silver hippgryphon as flying mount since WOTLK. And a armored Pureheart Courser mount. Vereesa rides the Pureheart Courser mount as seen in the next patch that is coming or armored Sundancer Courser.

But maybe we see that in the Patch later on from a vendor when the “Uniting the scattered elven tribes”.
If the Silver covenant NPC get updated tabard like Vereesa. It won’t match with the High elf armor pieces unless there be later on a High elf colored tabard from the same vendor. I can see in the “Collection” that Alliance will have access to Blood knight tabard in Midnight, just like the Horde. Wonder if it be tied to the Void elf paladin class or something. Sure could be something the devs missed or if its a bug.
Yeah like lieutenant Talthressar who didn’t see in TBC (Ingame) but in lore he was there and came to Outland with Khadgar, Turalyon, Alleria, Danath Trollbane in the expedition. So could be more High elves in Outland that Blizzard did not add to the game. But also Blizzard can add more when they “want” to for any race and change lore at anytime they want to fit the story they written for next expansion. Like the Nightborne did not “exist” until Legion as the only Highborne that existed was the ones that became “High elves”. Same with Mag’har orcs in outland as all orcs became corrupted by the felblood of Mannoroth until TBC. Um what else, The Highmountain Tauren did not exist either until Legion or that other Vrykul clans existed outside Northrend like Tideskorn and Drust. And as the devs said years ago more Vrykul clans still exists out there in Azeroth that left Northrend 1000 years ago in search of their gods…The Titan-keepers. In Stormheim we even found an ancient Vrykul vampire so there could be much older San’layn out there than Lich kings Blood elves San’layn, sleeping and waiting.
Well there is a “possibility” you get the Mok’nathal in the future as Leoroxx, Rexxar’s father and leader of the Mok’nathal is thinking of joining the Horde at the green Orc heritage armor quest. They already have the new model for male Mok’nathal as they just borrow rexxar’s model which is based of Kultiran male model and have Kultiran male Animations. For female Mok’nathal I quess they have to borrow again Orc female model, like they did with Amani troll female and make them abit taller and change the hands, head, feet and skin colors.
Well thinner humans would be great as I want my main rogue to be human but not as a Bodybuilder. Skinny Kultiran model is…well too skinny, almost sickly. I mean look at their arms and legs…there is barly any meat on them. Just skin and bone…if they based them of Male forsaken and reedit them abit, they would look awsome and still smaller than the Stormwind human model and matching the old wow vanilla Defias blackguard/watchman…But I do like the animations they using. Would be perfect for Human Rogue. Ah well maybe one day…Maybe when its Stormwinds turn to get updated we get thinner humans.
Like I said before Im very curious since Silvermoon is so massive. How big will Stormwind, Ironforge, Orgrimmar or Draenai’s new city be? Ironforge we might see more ancient Dwarven underground areas under Ironforge.
This is incorrect I’m afraid. The Nightwell itself was created on the conversion of leylines, that fed into it’s power and was sustained by the Eye of Aman’thul.
As far as we know there have been made 3 new wells from the vials of the waters from the original Well of Eternity.
- Well of Eternity (Mount Hyjal)
- Sunwell (Quel’thalas)
- Shrine of Lost Souls (Black Temple)
Again incorrect, the ingame quests and lore state that the fruit of the Arcan’dor permanently heal them of their “addiction”, “reliance” on the Nightwell.
There has been something going on that the Sunwell will be changed to a Dawnwell, whatever that may compass is unknown yet. Speculation that goes around on the forums is that it’ll become a fount of combined cosmic forces in the Warcraft universe. Which seems to be plausible as the Sunwell has been in contact with nearly all now except nature, which could in one way or another come from Haranar.
The Amani customisations for the Darkspear are just sad. It looks as if you just took a darkspear, dipped it in green paint, and called it a day.
With so much exposition and a zone dedicated to them, they deserve to be a race (or at least, have better customisations)
Nevermind then forget I said anything.
I’m not overthiking this since it’s just speculation. You overreject it because you don’t like the idea, and don’t want to hear about it
This sums up most of the anti’s rhetoric.
You just throw a wall of text at me to deny
Since there aren’t many logical reasons to be against more customization/story/assets they tend to bloat up the issue and throw as many things at you as possible.
Talking you into circles, and hoping they can exhaust you before people realize how contradictive their points have become.

It’s even more insulting than the fact that we don’t have unique High Elven customization. A return to Quel’Thalas and we don’t get to finally play the real Amani?
Not a peep about customization other than some lazily added colours?
There’s no justification for it. It’s the most tone-deaf they’ve ever been.
At least we get to be a Haranir that get every skin colour imaginable!!

I sincerely hope they add more stuff later on in the expansion.

To be fair it was rebuilt to it’s pre scourge size. The city was freaking huge and stretched all the way to Sunwell.
As for Thalassian range it’s unlikely it’s meant as anything else than a buffer zone made to accommodate for the fact that Eversong is finally properly grafted into Azeroth and thus can be approached from wider variety of angles. Before that Eversong Woods and Ghostlands as well as Island of Quel’dalar and Azuremyst and Bloodmyst Isles were on separate maps. Which is why the only way there was through portals and flying was never enabled there. This is also how the “TBC” Silvermoon and thus Blood Elf starting zone remain unchanged. They made entirely new map and grafted it onto existing Eastern Kingdoms.

Sorry that Mortiz and his decently founded fears that further High Elf Customizations would mean that Void Elves would risk receiving less Void themed options are not logical. And I’m sorry that Citing a source material is just bloating things up.

Looks awesome ngl.

Bit odd, im counting that one as a bug. If its not, well…

Because they’re unfounded - we’re already in a severe deficit. And IF Blizzard ever decided to give something unique to High Elves, we know they’d give something to Void Elves as well. Do you even know Blizzard? They’re already denying us in the first place since they’re afraid of stepping on peoples toes.
Hello Pot, meet Kettle
Except it’s not the same.
Let me help you put it into perspective, here’s how it usually goes:
Helfer: Did you see X? Maybe they're going to do something about it? Would be cool if they did Y and Z with it.
Normal person argument:
Idk, I don't think I'd like that - because Y.
Typical Anti response: (materializes out of thin air and starts speaking in Cartman’s voice):
Akshaully, here's 26 reasons why you're delusional, and why you'll NEVER EVER get what you want - Do you even see how crazy you are?! Have you ever, EVEN ONCE, considered MY feelings about this? You'll destroy the entire game! You don't love the game, I bet you actively pray for Blizzard to have another sex scandal so you can get what you want!!
Lmao, spot on.
Literally happened the last couple days (before the denial kicks in)
goes:

How it started VS how it goes on both sides honestly.
How it started VS how it goes on both sides honestly.
Not really, because helfers are the underdogs in this scenario.
Anti side is just exceedingly greedy and go out of their way to deny and attack innocent requests of a bunch of people. Other times they don’t even care about the outcome, they just found an easy bunch to bully.
And then when we defend ourselves from the myriads of absurdities and misinformation we’re told we’re the same.
Yeah… right.
I mean I see some abselutely unhinged grasps and hopium takes, case in point the most recent thread claiming the High Elves WILL be added in Midnight because some banners are blue? a community council member got a wink emoji 2 years ago and a silver covenant settlement was added in the far edge of the new map.
Put on the glasses of naturality for a moment and tell me that isn’t reaching for straws.
While to be fair some of the counter arguments get really far out, they seem about equal in both cases.
we just reached that point long ago where we bicker for the sake of it and whenever a new face jumps in high on hopium all attention descends on them, poor souls who don’t have the context of 6229+ accumulated posts of arugments back and forth and it all really just goes sour.
Can you blame them? It’s a 20 year old request.
Blizzard, like they do with many things, are pretending they don’t exist.
Their potential delusion doesn’t justify the destruction some people try to inflict on them.

That post was indeed a severe case of hopium or copium, probably both, from that particular OP who really should have posted their nonsense in this post to at least spare other forum goers another Alliance High Elf thread. It was exceptionally poor in it’s presentation, particularly in what was presented as ‘evidence’.

There are two fundamental reasons.
The lore reason is that there isn’t enough Alliance High Elves, they are below the threshold of viability. This is in support of the gameplay reason, Blizzard doesn’t want to give what are Blood Elves to the other faction unaltered.
But it is in trying to argue against those two points that the back and forth started, though I would point out the pro High Elf side uses absurd interpretations, copium, absolutist headcanon (whereupon they not only headcanon solutions, they then become affronted those solutions aren’t canon and start trying to insist they should be) and nonsensical speculation…case in point…
High elves from former Theramore, Highvale lodge, Outland, Stormwind and maybe some we haven’t discovered yet can still build a new high elf settlement
Fundamentally they aren’t added because it’s a two faction game and the race they want is a core race of the other side.
Update: As you can see I already received a response contesting the fundamental reasons they haven’t gotten it. If engaged, it usually goes down multiple rabbit holes as pros try to prove Blizzard wrong in some fashion.
So the back and forth is not really a case of both sides being as bad as each other, it is one side point blank refusing to accept the fundamental reasons the Alliance High Elf request never happened.
Blizzard doesn’t want to give what are Blood Elves to the other faction unaltered.
Except nobody’s asking for a copy of the Blood Elves.
What players want is Alliance Quel’dorei of Quel’Danil/Dalaran/Silver Covenant.
In the best case, we want nothing to do with Silvermoon or the Sin’dorei who are their own unique thing at this point in the game.
Blizzard in their typical backpaddling fashion gave us Sin’dorei rebels, with an ugly passive. We can look the same - and if you are going to use the argument that some hairstyles and a passive makes them different enough then you should be able to agree that we can have High Elves with different hairstyles and passives.
Do you not see how silly of an argument that is? Considering what players are asking for, and how long they’ve been asking for it.
The duplication already happened.
Because they’re unfounded - we’re already in a severe deficit. And IF Blizzard ever decided to give something unique to High Elves, we know they’d give something to Void Elves as well. Do you even know Blizzard?
We don’t know that they would give void elves anything. Theres not really a proven track record to go off of here. Apart from for example the amani customisation that trolls are getting. No regular troll customisation given at the same time. But at least trolls got a load of stuff of their own a few years back. Still waiting for void elves to get a single new void customisation.

The reason there is no ‘high elf’ equivalent to the Amani customisations for Void Elves or Blood Elves is simple.
Blood Elves ARE High Elves, so giving them high elf customisations is completely redundant.
And Void Elves already got those customisations in 2020, even if they are now recontextualised as simply Void Elf options.
Thats why we need VE and HE separate. Hopefully Midnight will give VE some voidy stuff for those that like the theme. And if HE become playable, then their themes wont have to overlap.

Did you just decide to ignore the big IF’s and the fact that we haven’t gotten anything strictly High Elven because they don’t want backpaddle even more?
Do you even know Blizzard? They’re already denying us in the first place since they’re afraid of stepping on peoples toes.

This would be ideal.
But if it doesn’t happen then “muh void” shouldn’t be an argument for not implementing anything at all. Especially not when Void Elves can canonically look like normal elves.
