I’m sure it will be something cool and new like the neutrality of the Thalassian people.
There are many players who also want the Amani forest trolls as a new race only for the horde.

Wich can happen if blizzard decides it should without taking up space a new race could have.
Btw make them neutral idk but keep the city horde untill all citys get neutral at once
If Blizzard decides that Silvermoon becomes the capital of elven reunification, it will be Midnight’s neutral hub.
But then they should go neutral with all city’s at once.
That way we don’t have an imbalance.
The whole faction war thing is over anyway or atleast I hope so.
There would be nothing worse then going neutral silbermoon and then two xpacs later they suddenly go back to war.
The alliance is incredible op already no need to give them one of our two cities on that continent especially since that one has a super weapon against the only other horde city on the continent if they want the war to ever be relevant again
If the high elves are a neutral allied race, a neutral capital (Silvermoon) will be required, like the dracthyr and earthen.
Yeah but you could just finally rebuild the middle part of the city that still is in ruins from the scourge attack.
That way you have a neutral hub and the horde keeps silbermoon as a horde city.
Would be a bit like dalaran. Alliance players would get porter out if they walk in.
You could even allow for only alliance elves to go into the original city. They have a claim on that city the others don’t
I prefer the Horde/Alliance embassies in Dornogal because players can enter both.
I mean I would absolutely prefer for us players to be able to enter any city and play any race regardless of factions cause I think as long as we are part of the factions no conflict be it outright war or little skirmishes can every really matter so why keep the conflict you know?
But we have to acknowledge that there is also a part of the community that has very strong feelings about the factions and the war.
Making a city neutral isn’t a small thing. It’s a big thing for the conflict and until blizzard doesn’t either officialy end the conflict for good or unbinds us from the factions those thing need to be done very carefully.
There have been no more conflicts between the Horde and the Alliance since the end of the 4th war (BFA)…
A neutral capital city must be completely neutral, especially for modern neutral races (Dracthyr/Earthen).
WoW has changed, limiting players’ access based on their faction is not a good idea.
True but the either make a new neutral city for midnight or go all out and make all cities neutral at once so it doesn’t look unfair.
The many people the horde community already feel like they are second rate players cause right now the story has a major focus on the alliance and there characters.
Just yesterday I saw people pointing out how the new tabarts in the next patch show how blizzard doesn’t care for the horde.
The alliance gets a nice one with a hawk something cool we don’t have and the hord gets tabart number twelve with the horde logo.
Taking a horde city right now and turning it neutral without doing the same at the same time with an alliance city would probably not look the best
If Silvermoon is to be neutral at Midnight, it will be neutral because Quel’Thalas will be revamped…
Blizzard has already updated or revamped capital cities or zones that have become neutral (Bel’ameth, Gilnéas, Telogrus rift…).
Ah yes let us just quickly use the three worst examples.
Belameth is five huts and nothing more plus it’s under the new tree we also fought for.
Would be super Uber strange that we fight for the tree and then the nightelves put some huts there and call dibs on it
Then gilneas wich is even worse since it’s a big city that I’d completely empty . There is nothing.
And then the void elve space rock. That’s not even resembling a city.
How exactly is that fair in comparison to silbermoon a fully functional city?
But I honestly love how you are such a typical high elve guy.
It starts with let us play high elves and quickly.goes over to make all talasian elves neutral to give silbermoon now!!!
You are probably one of those that to this day are salty that the horde got the pretty elves in the first place right?
We probably are not worthy of them right?
Btw I said make silvermoon neutral but make all cities neutral.
But strangely you did not say yes to this. You again started talking about how silvermoon needs to be neutral.
Are you not willing to part with alliance cities?
Yes and something that also happened alongside that is that wow’s playerbase massively decreased since they chipped off part of warcraft’s soul, and Blizzard said multiple times that faction conflict will be relevant again in the future and that they wanted to change the tone of the game to be darker after Dragonflight. They didn’t hire Metzen back just for fun I think.
I still say make real nice faction conflict but let us players out of it.
Let us be a third neutral force. The adventurers that work for both sides.
Then they can have high stakes destroy whole cities and let regions fall into the other sides hands without one side feeling like they suffer for the plot
No, we are part of the factions. Faction conflict with us as players is the move. The gameplay stuff like cross faction groups is restrictive enough for it to be fine.
A lot of people also looked suprised that somehow the pvp playerbase of wow diminished. As if people forgot that most wow pvp players in the past have been casuals, and casuals are not strictly gameplay-oriented. Wow pvp players were absolutely into faction conflict vibe-wise. Their most watched cinematics, and most bought expansions all had faction conflict as a main pillar of the atmosphere.
PvP players don’t care about playing as the opposing faction.
The most important thing for them is unlocking cosmetic items and titles.
Okay, I feel like Alleria, Jaina, Thrall, Anduin, Moira, Dagran, Gazlowe, Turalyon, Liadrin… are neutral at the moment.
TWW = neutral
But the faction conflict sucks.
Until bfa there has nothing happened so the conflict could also not be there and then when they burned the tree und UC got destroyed it felt really bad to lose something for the sake of a conflict plot.
If they cut us loose and I can work for whoever I want I would not loose anything if let’s say silverpine Forrest falls into alliance hands since I could still quest there cause I can work for the alliance too.
To be honest the whole concept of faction locked races is something I hate since I started back in vanilla.
You want to tell me the alliance would not take in an highly skilled orc since that’s what our heroes are. We are above the average soldier.
Just cause he is an orc?
Makes no sense to me
Says who? The vibe and atmosphere of wow with faction conflict was way better than now. Now the vibe of the game is way too sweet and cuddly. Replay the Sunstrider Isles zone after playing TWW quests and see how the vibe is different
Hey buddy read what I talk about.
The conflict in itself is fine but not how it players out.
With us in it it’s either nothing happens or it feels bad for the players to loose to the other side cause the plot demands a sacrifice.
That’s why I say let the conflict go nuts but make us some kind of adventurers guild. We get hired by both sides and on the conflict all the wild stuff can happen but it doesn’t afflict me as the player anymore.
I think the players are old enough now on average to understand that losing in a fictional story is just temporary.
I like both factions, but I like them as different factions
