Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race - 2024

yes thats generally true, there were non blood elf npcs in wc3 such as the alliance diplomat or priest unit, but the story was about the blood elves. they started getting fleshed out in wow

agreed i think it’d be a boring outcome and would be a disservice to what high elves or blood elves are to transform quel’thalas into a everyone happy “quel’dorei” city once again

25:17 the emissary is a human

You have priest unit in warcraft 3
in warcraft 3 TFT the “human” campaign is the blood elf one. You dont replay human faction but blood elves with priest units in the blood elves ranks

The blood elves campaign is after Archimonde death when you can see priest units in human ranks.

in warcraft 3 TFT the story continue and you play blood elves.

agreed i think it’d be a boring outcome and would be a disservice to what high elves or blood elves are to transform quel’thalas into a everyone happy “quel’dorei” city once again

They can do it by a side quest leading to all last high elves (not voidies) come back with veressa in Silvermoon and take part in the sin dorei people.

The fun thing is … all high elves fanbase didnt even imagine that in midnight… they ll probably not introduce playable high elves because blizzard considers that playable ones are already there and they are called blood elves.

what a big big desilusion if there is no playable high elves for these people

This is technicaly not possible. they ll not remove a big city from the horde and turn neutral.

if high elves are playable and in the alliance … how do you code the game? sin dorei npc guards can attack humans and gnome but not high elves enterring in Silvermoon? C’mon…

Giving the left destroyed side to high elves ? So do you really think blizzard will give a Major city of an alliance race just 2 doors before another horde city where there is Lorthemar a Leader NPC which is need to kill him for the PvP Achievement?

C’mon…

We all now whats gonna happen :

  • In every cases, Silvermoon will be revamp and left side rebuild, added to the blood elves city.

  • if there is a raid in this region, alliance will have provisory military camp/basement with portal. Like Silithus, BFA, MoP etc.

Or High elves will have a city in crystal song, preparing for The Last Titan Xpac

Do not forget that actualy void or blood elves, all playable character are blood elves starting in the sinstrider island.

They will not uncode Silvermoon to make it neutral lol… and they will not place 2 city of 2 different faction with 10m of distance each other

and if they do.

So Jimmy, level 10 high elve start at the left side of silvermoon, high elves quarter.

Jimmy invite Timmy the human level 12 mage for quest together as friend.

Jimmy can pass and go to right side of silvermoon because he s high elf? and Timmy is shooted by the guards because he s human? C’mon…

and TBF I m a quel dorei lover but all wow is not an only elves game.

why adding high elves ? 90% of living quel dorei are blood elves… 1% are voids and 9% are high elves.

Tbh alliance high elves renouncedto their legacy by quitting blood elves, they have no longer any right on the land and the city.

in reality, elves such as the one u portray have not been seen yet in the story, so it will be interesting to see that potential in the midnight xpac.

I’ve a specific and logic (but also modest) lore about my character and 2 toons.

the main is a priest, older sister, the 2 others are the younger twins. A paladin and the other twin sis’ is less/not magic affiliated (like a muggle xD ) it why she s a warrior.

we followed the prince kael thas. In warcraft 3 TFT during the mission just before garithos jail our people. The 3 sisters were ordered to harvest woods and stuff in forest near the camp

when we finished our job (job’s done !) we came back and with our long elvish sight we saw humans capture our people because of naga helping. Because of fear we runnaway together in the woods.
A couple of human garithos soldiers attacked us and tried to touch the twins sisters with very very very bad filthy intentions !!! (uwuu) The oldest sister was very angry and embracing rage. She killed the 2 soldiers by casting a terrible Holy Fire :fire: :raised_hands: :elf:

The sisters continue to runaway and became wanderers/refugees living in the woods. We learned that our people quite the our world by passing a magic portal and thats it.

years after years we lived in the wood and when we decided to came back to society we asked for refugee papers in stormwind. We saw what silver covenant was and also winderunners sisters was. Etc. We heard that our people came back and decided to rebuild the city etc etc.

Because of the hatred of the humankind and the deception of high elves were we decided to leave stormwind to come back in Silvermoon asking for political asylum :joy:

It’s why now we are blood elves but with all of us blue eyes because we never passed the portal and never vaped any fel crystal !

ngl I invented this lore because my fav’ color is blue :innocent: :elf: but also because the family tree of my characters are very light affiliated and vaped fel things wasnt in our mindset

The developers said in an interview that there will be two versions of Quel’Thalas in Midnight.

You can switch between Quel’Thalas versions (TBC or Midnight) by talking to a bronze dragon NPC.

So Silvermoon in the TBC version will always be Horde, and Silvermoon in the Midnight version could be neutral because there will be an Elven reunification.

AHH so to get to experience the new nice version of the city we need to share it with the alliance?

Just make a new neutral hub.
Use the part of the city that is destroyed by the scourge.
And if you really need an open silvermoon for the reunification feeling allowe only alliance elves to go into main city silvermoon.

Or if it’s super important that the city is neutral and we are all best friends anyway make all cities neutral at one go

There you go I provided two solutions that keep the reunification spirit that aren’t just taking away a horde city.
You should be cool with either option

They said that the TBC version of Quel’Thalas will still be accessible to players because there are important Lore quests (Sin’Dorei Heritage Armor, Blood Knight Armor, etc…).

Yes but it sucks to have to go back to an older crappy looking version just for it to be a horde city again.

Why would you not be cool with the two ideas I suggested.

Either rebuild the destroyed part as a neutral hub and allow only alliance elves in the main city part.
Or
Just make all cities neutral at one go. That way no one looses a city. We are all friends anyway.

The problem is that blizzard already said the faction conflict isnt of the table. It’s still something they want to keep and use again in the future.
In light of this we should really be careful when it comes to willy nilly turning cities neutral.
If they decide to go more faction conflict after the trilogy the horde suddenly sits there with one lonely city (if they even care to do something with lorderon) on the eastern kingdoms.

The DF expansion is finished and Bel’ameth, Gilneas and Telogrus Rift are still neutral… :face_with_monocle:

Why do you guys always come with these “cities” they are not real cities.

There is nothing to do. No banks no auction house no nothing.
You can have that sure.

An empty silbermoon with little to no npcs and no city stuff.

Please answer why would you not consider one of my two compromises?

I prefer the compromises Blizzard adds in expansions, the neutrality between factions.

Bel’ameth, Gilneas et Telogrus Rift are alliance cities but they are neutral.

So if Silvermoon is neutral at Midnight, it will also be neutral at the end of the Midnight expansion, like Bel’ameth, Gilneas, and Telogrus Rift.

Do you actually consider these three to be on the same level as a silbermoon?
Even old silbermoon before the midnight revampe is better.
Gilneas is literally an empty shell of a city and belameth has like three huts.

Why aren’t you open to compromises?

People like you just need to accept that WoW has changed.

But why can’t we find compromises?

Why not go and make all cities neutral then.
That way no one looses something.

Or why not make the neutral hub in the ruins part of silvermoon and allow alliance elves to enter main city silbermoon.

Right now you just want what you want and don’t care what others think and you are not even open for compromises

this would be pretty good. we had alliance cities like dalaran as neutral and they never felt horde. all npcs were humans or elves. most hordelike was some blood elves, maybe orc smith somewhere.

if silvermoon is filled with blood elves but has alliance in it as visitors, it doesnt have to diminish its blood elf or horde identity.

I know what you mean but that’s the problem.

They also want high elves and to then stuff all the high elve stuff into silbermoon too to take away as much horde identy it has.

They then want high elve guards and banners.
Let’s be real most if not all high elve fans (except a very smal number) just want to take the whole elve thing from the horde since they don’t like that we got it in the first place.

That’s why they never answer when you come at them with compromises. They don’t want all cities neutral just the one from.the horde they like.

If Blizz gives us a cool rebuild lorderon one day they will also demand that to be neutral ina human reunification them

I don’t understand why people can’t think of cool stuff for the Alliance. It’s pretty damn pathetic from the Alliance playerbase that they honestly can’t think of anything beyond wanting Horde stuff.

Do Alliance players not have the creativity or imagination to have stuff for their own.

I’m a High Elf supporter through and through, but I will never promote an idea that comes at the expense of the Blood Elves. That is not the way you do it.

The problem is those people (not all high elve and alliance fans of course) see all things elve the horde has as rightfully theres.

They have never accepted that we got elves back in tbc and they feel like we don’t deserve elves in the horde

As Gordon Ramsay would say: “Your in denial!” (Not you, but the High Elf lunatic fringe)

I have always accepted the Blood Elves as a Horde race, to think otherwise is straight up denial of truth and it’s pathetic.
It’s “muh feelings!” which I personally, don’t really care for.

Yeah it’s crazy.

And the best part is if we wouldn’t had gotten blood elves the game would probably not have lasted to this day.
The decision was made solely cause the horde needed a pretty race

Blood Elves essentially kept the World of Warcraft Engine running.

The only sad part is that Blizzard turned them into Humans with pointy ears and green eyes, because they lost their imperfect spark, after TBC. I’d love to see some of those TBC ways return in Midnight, with a Sunwell loss. I do think the Sunwell is the elephant in the room and it’s made Blood Elves so perfect, that they are so boring.

Now, I’m no fool - I know, in this event, playable High Elves would just be a second race to Humans, essentially, since they are basically the same in everything, including allegiance, but it’s what we’re asking for, because High Elves never did the stuff that Blood Elves and Void Elves did.
