I’m not sure the Venthyr would fit in to the Horde (and a bit awkward they have a Warchief or two stashed away in the basement or a certain Sun Prince) nor the Alliance for that matter
Like every Covenant, they have a Job in the Shadowland… and neither of them should become playable
yeah you’re pretty much right about that. I’m just so in love with this race so was dreaming a bit about it :>
But you already have the best race in the game!
Don’t be greedy!
Tho’ Venthy themed armor/dress would be cool (not the covenant, but what a “common” Venthyr wears; Its a but frustrating an NPC always comments, how glad he is I joined and I look faboulous in velvet. Yet, not even seen a velvet armor )
you are so right again haha, ok ok i’ll retreat
Wrong. Maldraxxus and Venthyr fit perfectly for undead and bloodelf themes. Them going Horde makes the most sense.
For once I agree with you on something.
Especially since the San’layn (vampire elves) joined the Horde in BFA.
Kyrian and Especially Night Fae are more Alliance. I mean with Night Fae I heard the Night song (song of the Night elves) almost everywhere I go. A reference to Teldrassil maybe or Ysera
perhaps you need this customisation option ^ _ ^ your blood elf promotes an unhealthy body image
you dont need all this, horde is already the most populous, popular and better performing faction
The San’layn never joined the horde in BFA.
There was a moment where an agreement was being considered and an individual prince of the San’layn agreed to work with the horde, and it was very quickly reigned in on when it became clear the San’layn were not to be trusted.
At no point did they officially get sworn into the Horde. The quest that this occurs in mentions quite clearly at several points how even working with them is not a sign that is what is happening.
The new fad anyway is to be a void elf, with deep purple/blueish skin and play as a Nightborne
Tho I never understood, why not play as a Night Elf and play as a Nightborne (at leas tthe same species), but finding logic in WoW palyers are between the hard and borderline impossible
What is it with people all wanting to play Traitors?
Yeah, if you see one of those, kill them, they are clearly a Horde Spy, with an illusion, and hiding something…
Nightborne are Horde, and they need to suck that up and play properly…
Stop assuming what i want, its clearly what i want, read first post.
So you want Silver Covenant. You’re not really interested in the other Alliance High Elves, is what your posts contain.
Well, that means you don’t want High Elves do you? You just want Silver Covenant. So you may wish to edit your thread title to ‘Silver Covenant High Elves as an Alliance allied race’
If you wanted High Elves, your statement would have read “I Can enlighten once more- High Elves playable for Alliance”
You are obsessed with the Silver Covenant…to the detriment of the High Elf cause…
Let me ask you this, as a hypothetical question, because it won’t happen, but if they released a separate playable option for High Elves as well as Void Elves, yet the Heritage Armour for those High Elves was some Ranger stuff more akin to the Highvale Elves, would you then go on to campaign for a Third Thalassian model for High Elves on Alliance that gets Heritage Armour that looks like Silver Covenant armour?
The San’layn never joined the horde in BFA.
There was a moment where an agreement was being considered and an individual prince of the San’layn agreed to work with the horde,
Oh thanks for making it clear. It was a long time ago.
But they wouldn’t fit in the Alliance neither.
Its nice to finally agree on something.
Absolutely, They’re ex scourge agents, they shouldn’t ally with anyone.
Traitor is such an ugly word
They just belive something different
An brought us some cool Vulpera plushies for winter veil!
Maldraxxus and Venthyr fit perfectly for undead and bloodelf themes.
To be honest, I’m not entirely sure why Maldraxxus is thamed like that!?
Maldraxxus is a realm of unending conflict. It is a place of brutality and bravery where its chosen are forged by the fires of war to answer a great calling: to protect the Shadowlands against any force that threatens its infinite realms. Maldraxxus is home to the mighty. It is a station for souls consumed with great determination, or for those who maintain an unending drive to make their mark upon death. Those who strove for greatness in life may have the chance to find it in death. Maldraxxus is a realm where ambition is rewarded and where the strong of body and mind thrive
So how they ended up with liches, zombies, plague, slimes and a barren desolate wastland that worse than Chernobil and Fukushima combined?
They should look like the ancient Rome with gladiator pits and colosseums, or like the Valhalla, where the souls could feast and fight and be chest banging warriors…
So why the Scourge theme and abominations came from is a mystery for me…
But I gess thats just me
The Horde is… not really similar to Maldraxxus; in theory, the Blood Elves are noble, arrogant self-centered Elves, but as warriors , sure they could pull their weight but its not their signiture theme. The Orcs while love a good fight and strive to die in glorious battle, equially honorable and spiritual. The Tauren are deeply spiritual. The Trolls have their own culture that totally different than Maldraxxus. The Goblins pobably would sell tickets and illegal steroids to the pit-fighters in Maldraxxus… and the Undead, while… undead, their core theme is to be Victims. Irronically, the best place for an Undead is Bastion to get rid of the nasty memories of their former lives they had to live, twice, once murdered human, twice as the same but dead humans…
The whole Maldraxxi theme is… a bit off, not fiting for the Horde if you look closer. Not to mention they are a neutral Army of the Shadowlands, protecting form threats, so choosing side… lets say if the likes like Draka and Vasj managed to put aside their past to work with anything that not Horde or naga…? Yeeeeah, I can’t see them ever siding with… a side, that is not Maldraxxus
As for the Venthry, a bit same… they have nothing in common with the Blood elves or the Horde (nor the Alliance for that matter) and the basically lats chance before the Maw? They would not joint to a mortal team. Anyone they would kill in the name of the Horde would not live to realise their mistake and change their course of life, so NOT end in Ravendreth or the Maw. Their job is to save souls, not to make sure, they go to the other sides… They are decadent and arrogant sometimes, but in a very different way than the Blood Elves.
So you want Silver Covenant.
highelves such as silver covenant
when i heard they adding high elfves to wow i was expected new Allied race not some lame reskin for blood/void elfs
My rl friends who quit also were a bit excited when they read the wowhead news about “” high elves"" only to discover their identity stolen by blood elves(blue eyes) while alliance get a cheap, void tainted reskin. They didn’t resub btw
Probably for the best. The 3 button rotations would probably be too complicated for them anyway.

Haven’t expected this from you!
