Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race (Part 1)

“We.”

Sweetie, I’m a Priest…we don’t do that whole “bare chest” thing.

I know, far from it actually. True burn was Teldrasil. Heard the ashes are still smoldering. How are oyu anyway, my night elven friend?

I think she might be a Highborne Night Elf. Teldrassil wouldn’t mean much to her

I wasnt talking about you. I reffered as “we” to the proud warriors of the horde. You know? The interesting, fabulous and important ones. Like me.

It’s 2021. Just thought you’d like to know.

Idgaf. I livei n cataclysm. Garosh did nothing wrong, best warchief ever.

Without Priests and Healers, all warriors would simply be arrows in Sylvanas’ quiver. Once broken, you can’t fix them.

Quiet woman and heal my wounds. You can make me a sandwich after.

Night Elves are growing pumpkins in Stormwind…I’m no Mage or Druid, so cooking and making food, isn’t a specialty of mine.

And you can go take out the trash and fix the tires. After all your a man it’s your job to do so. :nail_care:

Oh and you might be sleeping on the couch from now on

For the same reason they were with the Alliance for a single year. It benefits them and their survival.

No. Elves can’t even work it out amongst themselves.

Elves overall just should not be playable. Delete all playable elves.

This thread is an absolute trainwreck.

Playable elves is a trainwreck!

You are just mad because Elves ruined Troll civilization. Which is fair. I would be mad too

Nah, other troll tribes bullied the Darkspear, why would the Darkspear care at all. It was humans and naga who destroyed the Darkspear!

But come on there is some truth in what the Trolls say. They have been bullied as a race throughout Azeroth

Watch this video, it will change your perspective

Nah, the Amani smells like bantha poodoo

This word seems to be the entire identity of the belf “forumplayer” playerbase. Even though you were a compensation race to make sure the Horde side didn’t die out.
You aren’t oppressed. Look to Nightborn if you want to see something that needs “compensation” whenever any other race (like blood elves) gets yet more cool things again and again.

I wish Blizzard had the same energy as back in Burning Crusade, to make sure the Alliance doesn’t die out.

They are doing some things, but it’s not too much effort. More and more are transferring Horde

Not sure how you arrive at that conclusion. For a start, anyone posting from a Void Elf avatar sounds a bit odd when they complain about others wanting things, given the shameful amount of attention they received at the expense of the other Allies races, some, like Nightborne who were hardly touched at all.

I think you are confusing the Blood Elf annoyance at Blizz’s false statement as to how customisation works, and then the subsequent demands for yet more and more from the Allied race who already got the most.

Basically along with every other Core race, Blood Elves were promised ‘At least 40’ -Unique- customisation options. What they actually -got- was wildly underwhelming (as well as being less options than were promised, Draenei got treated the same way also, despite Blizz classing both as ‘Core’ races).

Now thats already objectionable. Both Blood Elf and Draenei fans would be quite within their rights to go “Ahem, Blizz, we’re still waiting on what you promised” Especially the Draenei, who actually got -less- customisation than certain Allied Races.

The real problem comes when of those customisation options Some are not unique at all, as they are given to the opposing faction. Effectively this means that the core race is getting less unique options, because some of their options are no longer unique, so the broken promise Blizzard made is compounded.

The reasoning is understandable as to why, they wanted to let people play High Elves on Alliance, so gave them customisations to allow them to make characters who look like High Elves. This pleased most sensible people…

And then…within 24 hours of the High Elf looking Skins being released, the further demands started. “Oh, but of course we need Blood Elf hair Colours” “Oh absolutely, and hairstyles”.
So essentially decreasing an already lacklustre set of customisations Blood Elf fans were getting that were ‘unique’ to them, to bolster an Allied Race that doesn’t really need them, and further drive them away from looking like Void elves, but like High Elves.

This understandably annoyed a lot of people, who are now like, “Well OK, if Void Elves are getting more of our stuff so that they can look like High Elves, How about you actually come good on your promise and give us those 40 ‘Unique’ customisations you promised us?” It isn’t about the Voidies getting blonde hair, though all the hairstyles would be a bit cheeky, it is more the fact that it has thrown it into stark relief in terms of what a raw deal the Blood Elves got -anyway- in comparison to other Racial customisations…

Hopefully that explains it a bit better.
