We still need hair colors though
Yes she does look like a high elf, she did not changed at all or was not changed. She is high elf using void elf powers.
Like Tyrande, she now have night warrior powers but she is still a night elf.
Ewwww
Exactly. Have not seen any topic requesting them playable at all , ever.
This.
They maybe can train how to be a high elf who can use void powers like Alleria without transformation.
No, she is a void elf
She is the first void elf.
No you don’t.
Alleria is not a void elf. The void elves are corrupted with void energy against their will, Alleria is just a high elf ranger using void magic. She does, however have a void form from her encounter with the corrupted Naaru, but even that doesn’t make her a void elf.
I’m waiting for that, not necessarily blood elf ones but newer shades of natural hair colors will do.
We are almost there !
True there are ways they can introduce natural hair colors without borrowing from the Blood elves. It can be slightly different shades.
Plus, I’ve seen like 12 Void elf NPC’s have black hair which is not available to the Players.
High elves are alliance race, and blood elves received what alliance have, not other way around. We do not need anything from blood elves, we have everything at our side.
Blizzard’s published novels disagree with you.
Wouldn’t that be Jaina and Vereesa overreacting though? Not all the Blood Elves they killed or imprisoned were involved with the theft of the Divine Bell
Alleria herself disagrees, since she calls herself and the Void Elves « Ren’dorei, for the Void has reshaped us »
Good catch! It’s also flat-out stated in Shadows Rising, so there’s really no way around the fact.
Once you go blue you’ll never go askew
She does look like a high elf, she was not changed like rest void elves are. You can call whatever you like her to be, but she is a high elf using void powers.
Why is this topic still a thing?
Over a year after its creation, mind you…
it was actually created in 2016 or 2017, not sure, but it is continuing because people want playable high elves such as silver covenant high elves. :]
So this makes it the (maybe) oldest thread on the forums??
Afaik, WoW representatives have stated multiple times that we’re not getting High Elves because High Elves are already implemented - Blood Elves in the Horde.
I also don’t care much for Void Elves but I think it’s as close as we’re ever gonna get to the actual race.
Possibly.
We already have high elves, and even received “technically” were in the past high elves- void elves.
Puts hands together, and cracks knuckles…
Alright…
Nope. That is not the reason that High Elves were exiled from Silvermoon at all. High Elves were (Shocker) OK with Fel Magic as much as Humans, Gnomes and Dwarves were. Don’t believe me? Go check out Summoner Nolric in Northrend Dalaran. Dude’s definitely a High Elf, and not only is a Warlock, but trains Warlocks.
The Fel crystals were there to replicate the power that the Sunwell had, which was to keep the floating spires and buildings of Silvermoon intact. Remember, Silvermoon is not actually built of bricks and mortar, it is built with Magic. The Half of the city that exists was built -overnight- by Magisters after Arthas sacked it… With Magic.
The whole reason that the Exile happened -was- because High elves refused to learn the technique for draining mana from living beings (Because it is a technique, a learned ability) Not to put too fine a point on it, they were exiled for being Mana Vegans and militant about it.
Nah. Rommath banished the Void Elves, the High Elves was entirely Lor’themar’s decision. Rommath had not yet cemented his position in Silvermoon, he was very much Kael’thas’ goodest of boys back then, but was having doubts, the High Elf exile was definitely Lor’themar’s doing (Source: The Shadow of the Sun)
He is pretty much “Grumpy old man shouts at cloud” meme…
Lor’themar is probably one of the most sensible leaders in Azeroth, to be fair, he was like “Oh, the Warchief is a complete douche. I -warned- him about this last time I spoke to him, and reminded him that he was just the -Warchief- of the Horde, and that he wasn’t -actually- the Horde. He didn’t listen. Because he is an idiot. So I’ll chat with this Varian Wrynn fella, test the waters, it might be time for us to revisit old alliances, instead of this moustache twirling villain squatting in Grommash Hold… Yes, let’s see how that works ou- What the Hell Jaina! Brilliant, I was in talks and you and the Silver Covenant go all War Crimes on us? Hells with you Varian Wrynn, we’re not pen pals anymore!”
I love that even Varian “I Never found a problem I couldn’t punch in the face” Wrynn, just facepalmed when Jaina said what she had done.
Yep. You’re 100% wrong on that matter. As people have told you and provided sources many times. So we’ll just ignore that statement, as you do not know what you are talking about.
Yeeeeah? I mean that is what an -Avatar- is. They are a person imbued with the powers of a deity. Why would a Kaldorei imbued with the powers of Elune not still be a Kaldorei?
Probably because you don’t deign to read other people’s topics unless they focus on Elves.
No such person exists. Did you mean Alleria Windrunner, who was the first Void Elf?
Are you saying…you want the original Alliance High Elf models from Vanilla? Be very careful what you are asking for there. Because I remember what they looked like.
I think what you meant to say, is that you want the Blood Elf model, as in the one created for that playable race, but on Alliance side. Sorta like Void Elves.
You don’t want the original High Elf model, trust me. No one does.
Amusingly, precisely -None- of the Blood Elves they killed/tortured/imprisoned were involved in the theft of the Divine Bell. Everyone killed in the Purge of Dalaran was 100% innocent. They didn’t even know about it (Apart from Aethas, but he only found out -after- it had happened) . Because the one Elf who did it, wasn’t even a Sunreaver. If he had any affiliation, it was to the Reliquary. So uh, yeah, that was a massive Alliance War Crime, against innocent civilians. winks
You are simply factually incorrect. Every official source disagrees with you. Why you persist in this delusion is beyond me, Blizzard have said Alleria is a Void Elf. Novels say Alleria is a Void Elf, Wowpedia states she is a Void Elf (With canon sources) and Alleria refers to herself as a Void Elf.
Actually, answer that one. If the character themselves, calls themselves a Void Elf, who are you to turn all that lore on it’s head and go “No they’re not!”
I know right? She is not a void elf. You can call her as such but it does not change a fact that she still is a high elf, look like a high elf.
Because there are none of such topics.
Yes
high elves such as silver covenant high elves.
I just know. Sheeps can follow fake information. Alleria still does look like a high elf, not like a void elf even somewhere it is stated that she is a void elf.
Where was that stated?
I guess the case of Quel’lithien was completely separate then
