I knew you would quote me and that just shows, once again, how clueless you are. I have highlighted the word « now » for a reason that you missed, once again. I’m not a native speaker either so I know that English can be complicated sometimes, but no, saying that there was no High Elves in the Alliance when the Blood Elves joined the Horde is not a mistake. High Elves led by Vereesa were officially neutral for a long time before they made their position within the Alliance clear, and it wasn’t the case during TBC.
No worries at all
Talking about high elves is always confusion waiting to happen since there are 3 factions of high elves
Blood elves. The majority of high elves
High elves. High elves that did not want to be blood elves
And void elves made of blood and high elves
All 3 groups are high elves.
One of the 3 groups is also called high elves
No confusion can ever happen there right? Lol
I am not talking false lore, WoW is the continuation of Warcraft. Vanilla was in development well in advance and the lore was very likely prepared prior to TBC beginning development since the entire damn expansion was about the Blood elves. You’re trying to act like lore is real life history and it’s so very tiring watching you both write all that.
Well, if there is any confusion about lore that need be cleared up in, there is a lore-thread section in which you can start a debate about the intricacies of Helven history, inculding what lore is contemporary and what is outdated.
I am telling ya’ll. Ya’ll involved in the argument, not just one person. And it’s a genuine proposition. You can begin an interesting lore-thread where more people might chime in to help clear up in any confusion. Venting about this stuff in this thread won’t help anybody.
It’s more about halting a debate that is not really about lore but hurling insults ^^ You can cling to your stubbornness if you like, but it’s an appeal to your leniency, if you hold any.
Well, a slightly altered model was requested by the High Elf community for the High Elves originally. Something where you could notice the difference between the groups, but something that didn’t make them look like they were a different race.
The problem is the fact that both Void Elves and Blood Elves have access to High Elven features now so High Elves as a playable race seems very unlikely. Unless they go through something that would alter their features, they won’t be added.
What I would personally like though, is green eyes for the Void Elves. First generation Void Elves who were on Telogrus when the incident with Durzaan happened were Blood Elves with green eyes, Umbric’s previous model is a proof of it. Although she shares Umbric’s ambition to go back to Silvermoon and make peace with the Sin’dorei, Nedra still sees herself as a Blood Elf. Having no greenish eye color for her is frustrating
If High Elves share their leader’s love for humans, no wonder the fans like humanish models for the Quel’dorei (the idea itself isn’t necessarily bad, just trolling a bit)
You cannot know for sure you were not the one writing the story. Either way they somehow had to write it to explain how Blood elves joined the Horde.
I have mental health issues as well I have severe depression, this game is my escape and I do not appreciate being told I spew nonsense repeatedly and expect I will not be affected by it.
