Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race (Part 1)

So any future expansion and lore added. Would be considered ‘‘Since classic’’ to you as far as lore goes… Even to the point of BfA Or even Shadowlands classic?

Saying ‘‘since classic’’ wouldn’t be very classic at this point if you catch my drift.

And that’s not what I said

vanilla =/= classic

…Come again?

Please read

I did… I added that your input was not vanlilla or classic lore. But Wotlk and cataclysm retcons…

We then went into a discussion about what we both consider to be ‘‘classic and vanilla’’ And how far that rabbit holes goes. With examples… Then you ended it with saying

That’s where the confusion comes from. WoWHead lists the book as having been added on patch 1.11.1.5462, not WotLK or Cataclysm

Nope. I made a sarcastic comment about the book being available on WoW Classic’s servers that you did not understand

Seems this book was added a whole whopping two years before cataclysm was released.
But only in this single book for all i can find. And propably in preperation for that too…

As it was that expansion that introduced that lore into the core lore of the game.

I’m not sure that Wowhead has the right info on this to be honest with you, I think you were onto something when you said that it was added around Cataclysm. WoW Database says it was added during MoP’s prepatch :
https://www.wowdb.com/objects/175854-the-twin-empires

The patch you showed me was added at 20th of june 2006… If the book entered the game then that would be two years ahead of Cataclysm when this lore started appearing in the game… At least as far as my memorie collects.

But wouldn’t be the first time im wrong or make mistakes x)

They are not. They are 3 different type of elves.

Try re-reading again what i linked.

like your character is a blood elf, not a high elf. Fact.

False… High elves didn’t biologically change past the colour of their eyes after Quel’thalas. And Keal’thas renamed their peopele Blood elves.

A fell elf would be more akin to a race changed high elf. than a blood elf ever did.

Blood elves… With green eyes. are more like a fresh green race that never tried the warlock class before.

Their race didn’t change cause of it. Their eyes turned green. Thats it…

Keal’thas renamed his people the Blood elves in honor of the fallen at the fall of the scourge.

It had nothing to do with their new source of magic that they drew from.

Wrong they are the same elven race they just belong to different factions.

Blood elves are still high elves and that is a fact not what YOU spew. Clearly you do not know what A FACT even means.

It’s not false, in-game we have 3 different elves races. So that is a fact. Blood /void\high elves.

False. If they were, they would be under one faction and one tag high elf.

They are not. That’s why you are blood elf not high elf. When you log in game it says blood elf not high elf. When someone tag you it says blood elf not high elf. You’re blood elf not a high elf.

Im curious, what race would you call the defias brotherhood?
Just trying to gauge where you draw the line.

It’s faction not a race. What you trying to do here?

Wrong again since that is not how it works and they are still under the tag high elves. It is called LORE read it.

Wrong again since blood elves are a FACTION so that still means that BLOOD ELVES ARE HIGH ELVES SINCE HIGH ELVES ARE A RACE. If we take the real world japanese people are humans same as native american even tho THEY DO NOT LOOK THE SAME. Or even have the same culture and other stuff.

I believe they were Dark Trolls, not Amani Trolls.

"The dark trolls are an elusive and mysterious subgroup of dark-skinned trolls that once lived under Mount Hyjal and several other scattered areas around the western and central parts of ancient Kalimdor. Notably, it was a group of dark trolls living on the borders of the Well of Eternity that evolved into the first night elves. According to scattered reports, dark trolls have gray to black skin and lead a mostly subterranean existence. They are believed to be cannibals for the most part. Only a single dark troll tribe has been seen in the modern era: the Shadowtooth clan.

Well high elves are one race that split off into 2 groups. One of them changed their name. This did not change what race they are.

I wanted to know if it was the act of changing your name that magically changed you into a new race, or if leaving your home city to form a new group did.

it is how it works and how they are named in-game. Fact.

And it is stated blood elves aren’t high elves.

They are not. Blood elves are not high elves. Like void elves are not blood elves nor high elves.

trolls did not evolved into night elves… around well of eternity there were nocturnal creatures not trolls.

yes they are all elves, but different races. So by your logic, high elves in the alliance are blood elves? or void elves are blood elves too? Ha.
