I mean, it should be obvious Blizzard gives the most OP racials to the prettiest races.
Blood Elves for years were the dominant race in Mythic+ and now Night Elves are the dominant race pretty much everywhere and especially in PvP.
They’re not going to give a broken racial to Mechagnomes or Vulpera, lmfao.
It really doesn’t make sense. How is this the unification of Elven tribes if High Elves are not in the story of Midnight, at least for now?
Never heard of them
Sure, once our Friends and Allies that have supported the Alliance for years gets playable. That’s been asked for over 20 years (Wow Beta). Vrykul for The Last Titan. Would also like to see Furbolgs, Gnolls, Ogres or Mok’nathal. Mok’nathal and Broken is possible as Mok’nathal thinking of joining the Horde as we saw in Orc heritage armor quest. Same for Broken to join the Alliance in the Draenai heritage armor quest. Furbolgs use Kultiran rig and Gnolls use Worgen rig so they are possible. Vrykul in last titan would be awsome and Utgarde as the hub city.
Races from Shadowlands can’t leave as they have a duty to handle the souls that comes there. But nothing says there is not a Vampire race on Azeroth. In legion there was a Vrykul Vampire sleeping in a tomb on broken isle. Also in the Blood elf Blood Knight quest a newly created San’layn lead the remaining Scourge and attacked Quel’thalas when the last ones was supposed to died in BFA.
Blizzard devs still trying to ignore the Alliance High elves existence, they have shown their true color, its all for their Horde Bias since Vanilla wow.
1.) FOREST TROLLS: Forest Trolls may or may not be a thing. I think the chances have declined significantly as they were not added as part of Midnight and I thought there was a strong chance they would be as another lazy reskin to balance out the Earthen.
2.) VULPERA: No, this is not the case. I am afraid what you are doing is you are trying to argue for the worst possible outcome for Vulpera to justify High Elves. At no point has anyone even implied them to be anywhere near extinct. They have had a difficult existence in Vol’Dun, yes, but that doesn’t mean they are extinct.
And they were made playable because they were always intended to be playable. The models were datamined with numerous options and animations, in other words the telltale signs that they were intended to be playable from the get go and clearly intended to be the counterpart to Mechagnomes. It is a mistake to assume Blizzard made them playable because of player sentiment. If player sentiment were an example we probably wouldn’t have had Mechagnomes, a lot of folks at the time were deeply annoyed by Mechagnomes as they felt Mechagnomes were taking up a slot that could have gone to anything else. It’s an example of the opportunity cost backlash those who seek High Elves don’t consider, that IF they were added what most players would see is a precious slot for a new race being wasted on a de facto duplicate of two existing races.
3.) VOID ELVES: Void Elves cannot reproduce properly but can be created by an ordinary Elf choosing to become a Void Elf. So long as you can choose to become a Void Elf, they sidestep the population issue that was cited against Alliance High Elves. The Alliance High Elf population really consisted of a handful of Dalaran Mages and rangers loyal to Veressa or opposed to the Horde, and they’ve been on the decline.
Had we this discussion pre Cataclysm, those seeking Alliance High Elves would have cited the lodges in the Eastern Kingdoms as well as Dalaran as High Elf population centres. All have been destroyed. Allerian Stronghold was named in Alleria’s honour and had the lion’s share of the Elves who accompanied the expedition to Draenor, but even then it was a majority Human settlement.
Yeah, cause they don’t want them to exist any more. That’s obvious. And it’s funny how you guys cry Horde bias whenever you want something unreasonable. Like either removing belfs from the Horde or cloning them fully. Cause Velfs weren’t a full clone. Must be cause it worked in the past. But I don’t think it’s gonna work this time, so all in all, you are just putting your brattish entitlement on display.
You can’t have a story about hunting the elven tribes without the high elves
No…they live in few caravans, they live as “Nomads” for god sake, they move from one place to another each season to find food. Sure few indiviuls live in boralus with the criminals. And they only been seen in Vol’dun, only place on the planet, nowhere else. How many wagons did they have in Orgrimmar…3 wagons?? and they will not survive without the “Support” and “Help” of the Horde or they will go completely extinct. They desperately had to prove themselves to the Horde that they were useful. Have you not played the game?? Only Baine supported their entry to the Horde. But Im sure Blizzard will fix that with their magic just as they did the same for Tauren and Darkspear trolls. Tauren was only 1 small Village of survivors. Darkspear trolls was one village on an a small island were Thrall saved a handful of them. Saved the last of their kind. As all Darkspears had moved to that Island a long, long time ago.
No the Alliance High elves are not a handfull that is a “lie”. And no only one lodge in Eastern plaugelands was destroyed. Hinterlands still exist, Dalaran elves exist,Allerian stronghold exist, SIlver covenant exist, High elves in Stormwind exist They don’t put ingame how many exist in lore as each npc takes up memory. If they had all Blood elves that exist in Silvermoon then it would lagg like crazy until it crashed. Same for all other hub cities like Orgrimmar, Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus as several thousands Night elves died when Darnassus burned to death. Had all those been ingame at Darnassus, there been no way you could have gotten in there without crashing.
Blizzard said 90% of the High elves populations died during the Scourge attack…90% of what??? 1000…10.000…100.000…1.000.000. How many were they in the Begining?? Blizzard have “never” answered that even after 20 years. If they were 1.000.000 and 10% survivors would be 100.000. 1% was the Alliance High elves then High elves would be 10.000 Alliance High elves. More then enough to be Playable. And almost all expansion they add more High elves. Silver covenant is also part of the Alliance since WOTLK. High Commander Halford Wyrmbane of the 7th legion recruited Silver covenant in Wintergarde Keep. So they are part of the Alliance just not officially like the Dark iron Dwarves. Which would have been so easy as Silver covenant has everything ready. Their own tabard, their own mounts. Different colors on their tabard then The Blood elves, different Symbol which is a sun and moon in one, different mounts as they have Unicorn mount and Hippogryphon mount that their ancestors (The Highborne) used while Blood elves have Hawkstrider and Dragon hawks. We also saw in the cinematics that was waayy too many Blood elves defending the Sunwell at the field. As we seen in Silvermoon what are they? a 100 blood elves In Silvermmoon ingame. In the cinematics they looked to be several legions of Blood elves fighting the Void army. But Blizzard writes more due to the story they write as well changing the lore if needed to fit the story they written each expansion.
I wonder who is entitled, calling someone a bratt when you got Blood elves out of necessity then it ever made sense. The devs even admitted this years ago that they had to change the entire lore to make it work for Blood elves in the Horde before TBC came out in a tbc trailer were they talk about Blood elves. Blood elves were never meant to be in the Horde in the first place but the devs bent knee when Horde players wouldn’t stop crying on the forums of unfair player population and it was…every…single day in Vanillla wow. Wanting a pretty race to out balance the player population. You got what you wanted.
If the Blood elves had stayed as they were in the Beginging of TBC as they were searching for darker powers beyond Azeroth then…then they would have made sense in the Horde as that was the Original idea for Blood elves in TBC. I can’t post the video from BBlizzcon 2005 as Blizzard moderators keeps removing it.
And nobody asked for Void elves as they never existed in Warcraft lore. And they were last minute decision patch that gave the allied races when they decided to give Nightborne to the Horde. Its why Void elves came out incomplete, no real hub city and incomplete with customizations especially for the Void elf males.
If all High elves were now Void elves then we would have seen Vereesa windrunner and her Silver covenant in Telogrus rift and also Auric sunchaser and his rangers or the Highvale elves or Dalaran High elves in Legion when we unlock Void elves but we did not, Only stragglers, the High elf Wayfarer which are “nobodies” that didn’t belong to any Alliance High elf factions. And in dark heart there was NO high elves Telogrus rift, but there still was Blood elves there and the 3 Blood elves that protested that Blood elves for joining the Horde.
Yeah The Alliance High elves are also part of the “scattered” elven tribes. Took the devs days before they remembered that there is a reunion of elven tribes in Midnight. Which was a big announcement 2 years ago by Chris Metzen.
“Uniting the Scattered Elven tribes”

Our US High elf friend Azsharion talks about the 4 elven races.
I love his videos, subbed and liked already. He has a very soothing voice to me. Someone has to talk about that stuff.
‘In Azeroth you don’t mess with the elves’ that’s very real. And unfortunately they have already been messed around with an awful lot.
I watched it yesterday. It’s a good video but definitely has some rough edges. the transitions are a little harsh and the editing is a bit amateur, but I imagine it’s a new channel?
Yikes!
I kind of automatically assume every elf female has a man behind the screen but there’s no need to single out a single group of people!

Does anyone else cringe so hard when Anti-Helfer trolls claim that High Elves are just Tolkien Elves?
Like, it seems to be the most deranged, low iq argument ever.
“They are both called high elves so they are the same hurr durr hurr durr”
When in fact High Elves also have the magical addiction problem of the Blood Elves and have to use meditation and the like to sustain themselves. That is a totally unique thing of Warcraft Elves. And also they have less than cordial relations with humanity because they believe the humans’ youngish nature caused them to fall to corruption (Arthas, Kel’Thuzad, the Death Knights, the Cult of the Damned) and resulted in the fall of Quel’Thalas.
But of course part of their charm is that they continue to help their old allies, despite this resentment.
Honestly, Night Elves are way more similar to LOTR Elves than the High Elves. But then again Anti-Helfers aren’t the brightest lot.
