I was on the quest “Tanaris Field Sampling”, where I have to collect 8 Hyena, Scorpid and Basilisk samples. I had already found 8 Basilisk samples and a 9th dropped for me. I wanted to destroy it, since it takes up inventory space.
After deleting it, ALL already acquired items for the quest were removed and the quest got automatically abandoned without a warning.
Sad but I can live with it. However there is no way for me to pick up the quest again and i am stuck with the progres. I checked in Undercity and in Gadgetzan, where I got the (pre)quest.
Be careful ppl with that one!
