Question about Blood elf and shadow magic

I’d say that there are still Shadow Magic specialists among the blood elves, just nobody that would go as far as Umbric and his Dark’han fanclub.

Not because it’d still be socially acceptable, but because it seems dumb that the belves wouldn’t be preparing to counter the void elves.

And they aren’t opening rifts to the void and what not…

Shadow =/= Void. At least, thats how I play it, cos otherwise Blizz just made a whole bunch of longstanding abilities and classes and stuff ‘verboten’.

Which would be par for the course, really, and just compound how awful Velves were and are (no hard feeling to their players, just imo ^^; )

Ghostlands is portrayed as still being crawling with undead from the three sisters comic. I think it’s safe to think that place isn’t fully reclaimed and very dangerous.

That’s exactly what they did. As far as I know, shadow and void are now the same thing - a catastrophic retcon, but something we all have to sadly live with.

Basically. “Void” abilities seem to be more powerful+dangerous than “Shadow” ones though (Voidform upgraded Shadowform, surrender to madness, insanity, etc.)

But it’s the same source, so both are dangerous to the Sunwell.

Shadow magic is like shooting someone with a super soaker and void magic is like firing a water cannon at them.

Same source, different dangers

So, you could say ‘‘Void’’ is the purest form, and ‘‘Shadow’’ is weaker or diluted somehow?

Yeah.

The place has always been depicted as been on par with the Eastern Plaguelands, but without the Argent Dawn to make inroads. The only place that the Blood Elves really reclaim in the entire quest-zone is the Andilien estate, this was to be set up as a forward post to launch attacks on the Scourge.

It wouldn’t be difficult for anyone to hide away in the Ghostlands, somewhere between all the plague-carrying wildlife, undead murlocs and gargoyles no one is gunna bother you. Though, it’s probably not the safest place to hide.

Void = pure orange juice
Shadow = Concentrate

Are old gods the pulp?

Old gods are like having the juice squeezed in your eye from the orange itself

Stormwind Void Elves are like Sunny Delight. They look orange at a glance, but there is little to no orange actually present.

Are you that blood elf who was questing in Eversong last night?

Old sunny d + blue smarties = chaos

Me? Well I surely did but I saw more belfs as well, not sure who you mean :smile: but are you saying you are a traitor to your traitor and was on a blood elf last night? :scream:

I always wanted to have a blood elf mage. They’re awesome.

Coldshade pre void corruption :grinning:

Better be frost, or we’ll have a problem.

It’s Arcane. Sorry. Couldn’t resist 1-shotting stuff with arcane missiles and pulling half the quest zone at once every 45 seconds.
