Arcane is mind numbing but its fun to just do big numbers.

Ever tried the combination of elemental force enchant on your weapon and hidden satyr on your necklace? It’s crazy, I’m telling you.
Late, but this is wrong. I can’t link it rn since I’m out but check out my ‘void elves are good people’ slideshow, there’s a slide that summarises the quest chain. They only tried to find a way to use the Void benevolently!
But yes, summing it all up- it’d be safest to keep a shadow priest out of Sillyspoon.

Okay, I find that they just wanted to use it benevolently, they didn’t try - nor wish to try - to emulate Alleria.

Void Elves didn’t even know about Alleria.
Aside from that they never intended to become Void Elves. They justed wanted to learn the abilities of the Void to be able to study, and eventually fight it, more effectively…
You know; Kinda akin to Blood Elf Warlocks and Demon Hunters using Fel-magic despite all it had done to the Azeroth, Kingdom of Quel’thalas, and its denizens.
But Blizzard didn’t want to give proper High Elves to the Alliance they just pulled Void Elves out of their behinds. D:

broke void elf story: Yet another group of blood elves go ‘ah, but we won’t succumb to this highly corrupting power source that drives everyone who uses it to madness’ and the predictable occurs
woke void elf story: a group of high elves who went with Alleria through the Dark Portal were trapped by the Void and adapted in a hostile environment to survive, eventually being re-found by the Army of the Light and returning back to their beloved Alliance

I like void elves :3 but dream scenario would ofc be blood elves on Alliance, proper blood/high elves. Now I’m gonna join the red team for a while though and play through their side of the war campaign to have seen their version, so proper Horde belf it is

Exactly, even after a damn Civil War they didn’t stop using it so why would they fear using Shadow-/Void magics suddenly?

they’re all undercover n’zothian agents and will stop being playable after 8.3 because they join the Old Gods side.
Fel isn’t an inherent threat to the Sunwell’s stability like Shadow/Void is (since the Sunwell is now made out of Light as well as Arcane).
