yeah if a warlock goes oogaboogah at the void well it doesn’t poop out demons, but if someone who uses the void does it poops out dudes who are actively trying to break through it

Fel was never widely used outside of Kael’thas’s forces, and it does not actively endanger the existence of the Sunwell and therefore their people.

Additionally, the average Joe Sunblade had no idea that Kael’thas - or anyone else, for that matter - was using demonic magic. It was all kept under wraps, presumably to prevent any public outcry against it.

Does frost become more effective than arcane explosion+barrage spam on AoE once you reach 63? As far as I know, they moved the splitting ice talent all the way to level 90 tier and the cleave’s a bit… eh.
Blizzard reduces the CD on Frost Orb, and then put together with the Frostbite WM talent (Chill effects have a 15% chance to freeze enemies for 4 sec).
Pull group of mobs > Stack them somewhat > Frost Nova > Frost Orb > Blizzard > Ice Lance procs > Blizzard > Frost Orb.
And at 70 you can also use the ‘‘Burst of Cold’’ WM talent, ‘‘Your Frost Nova instantly resets the cooldown of Cone of Cold and it increases its damage by 400% for 6 sec’’.
That sounds difficult… I’d rather just pull everything in sight, pop temporal shield and go 4x arcane explosion into arcane barrage. Stuff tends to die by the time you do this.
But it’s not as fuuuuun, gawd.
If you want fun, you just go fire anyways.
Mage is not really my kind of class, I’m more of a dot person, but as far as mages go, I like frost the most :3

Same, I always wanted to play Frost back in Cataclysm, but it was PvP spec and wasn’t really useful in PvE. That changed with MoP and I loved it.
I still want MoP Frost back, it was so much fun with the Evocation talent + Living Bomb.

Yeah but I find it too stressful with having to watch out for the hot streak procc, I never get it to feel fluent 
I guess I like it slow, I don’t like the new SP either, I liked the dot dot dot cast chaaanneeeelll 
To be honest, one of the best parts of levelling as arcane is the ability to slack in dungeons! You can alt-tab to reply to a forum post and tell the party you had to drink for mana.
