Hi Blizzard,
I’m really enjoying the activity on the 20th Anniversary realms – it’s been a great opportunity to level and engage in active PvP, especially compared to the lower population on Era realms.
However, I have a serious concern regarding the transition once these servers move into TBC. Will there be an option to transfer characters to Classic Era instead of progressing into TBC?
This is a critical point for me when deciding whether to keep my subscription active. I want to use the 20th realms to rank up characters due to the higher engagement, but it’s frustrating not knowing if my efforts will eventually be locked into TBC, which I may not want to play.
I already have high-level characters on Era, but due to the low AV activity, I’m choosing not to play them actively.
Some transparency on this would be deeply appreciated – it would help a lot of players like me make more informed choices.
Thanks!

and on the general future of the Anniversary servers would be much appreciated.
We don’t know. Blizzard probably don’t know themself either. There are already 10+ threads in this forum alone with the same question - and alot of guessing!

Yep, all we have are guesses and assumptions.
I would assume that this would be an option, as it was the last time TBC released. However I don’t think Blizzard have even officially said TBC is coming, I think we are all assuming that in the first place.
Yes, that is official: TBC is coming for Anniversary (not HC though).

well lets hope with all the threads that blizzards keep an eye out
You’ll get your answers at gamescom.
When? and is Blizz represented there?
August 20-24. They were there at 2024, given the lack of Blizzcon 2025, I’m pretty sure they’ll be there this year.

Great, and I’m here for it.
But what kind of TBC? A rushed, 12 month run? Will they fix the honor issue from last time where PvP gear cost 18k but you’d get 100 honor for a bg win? + all the other issues they had to fix?
