Question about SoD -> MoP boost

Hello, I have 2 questions about the boost to 85 in MoP from killing Balnazzar in SoD:

1. Is there a deadline after which I can’t use the boost anymore? For example do I need to spend it during prepatch, or can I use it later too?
2. Can I use the boost only on a level 1 character, or can I use it on a character that is higher level? I never played the Worgen starting zone, so I’d like to do that and then use the boost when it’s finished.

I’d appreciate if someone would tell me or point to some information.

If this functions like the regular boost tokens they generally will never expire. I still got my old ones from Retail in fact!

Yes you may use it on a higher level toon.
