Hey Guys,
I have some questions regarding the new “Mega”-server in combination with faction balance for fresh, especially PvP wise.
Never played SOD, so I dont know how well it works and I am on the fence going to the PVP Realm as Alliance.
Last time I played classic in 2019 and then again the TBC fresh launch and it was not that fun getting overrun by pure horde. I really love PvP and it gives the world more “life”, but last time it was just too much on my realm at least.
On top of that, I just had the feeling that we had to many players in general, farming every single herb, mob, quest and what not.
So here are my questions, maybe someone with experience from SOD can help me;)

Is the “Mega”-server layered so that you wont face 50 people dancing around the same group of wolves everywhere? Is faction balanced also enforced within these layers?

Does the enforced faction balance stop you from creating alts, if you have already a character of lets say horde there and you want to create your bank alt? Or does it work on account level rather then character level? Would be pretty crappy if you are a level 40 player and you cant create a bank alt:P

How does enforced faction balance works, when players are quitting? I guess it works well during the first week, when we all create our characters, but I just don´t see a big influx of players still joining in lets say 3 months. If we are in the famous “phase 2” and players on one side are giving up more often, we probably have one side way stronger again or am I wrong?

How does the respawn works on a megaserver regarding mobs and herbs/minerals? Is it accelerated?
I would like to get some feedback here to decide if I will go pvp or pve this time around. My brain says PVE, but the heart speaks for PVP again. I know that you will get killed a lot, thats the nature of PVP, but I wonder if the faction balancer will help to avoid this retarded area lockdowns for days or even weeks like 2019.
