I just subscribed to classic to play with friends. I didn’t make any character yet. I log in into Shazzarah and initial queue position for me was 2500 (about 50 mins). However, it actually increases with time. Now it’s 3200 (66 mins). It’s not going down at all. At this point I’ll never log in. Is this a bug? Help please.
You just started and made a character on the fullest server?

Literally renewed subscription just to play with friends who are in Shazzarah. Anyway, it’s irrelevant to the topic. Even if the server is full, queue times should go down with time not INCREASE. If I’m here first, I should go first.
It’s normal. Priority is to players who already have a character in that server. You need to log early in the morning or around 3 am.
Only 3200? Wasn’t Shazzrah seeing queues of 20k people last week?
Character Migration
It’s not a bug. If a player crashes or is disconnected from the server, they are given a ‘grace period’ where they can reconnect without a queue.
This is why you see it going down and then up.
The queues are much lower than last week since the server migration, 50 minutes is actually pretty good!
Well 20 mins later and the time is 80 mins now. Theoretically I’ll never log in like this.
Yeah but not if new people ignore warnings and free transfers are refused by the queued.
And you ain’t seen nothing yet because layering is still on.
If i were you i’d reconsider and not wait untill you are forever stuck on a levelled character. Friend or no friend.
And maybe the friend is willing to reroll on a more accessable realm?

You are trying to log-in to the most popular MMO ever made, nearly two weeks after release.
It has already got better than from a week ago and it will get even better over the coming days.
It is frustrating through, I hear you.
I for one took a week off, and the Queue times a week later reduced, so either everyone ran off or many other players took a week off.

Jump out of the que and reque after 5 minutes, this has solved the issues for guildies.
I’m just asking, is it normal that the queue is always going up and not down? Is it because I don’t have a character in this server yet? My two friends don’t have such problems (if the queue says 51 mins then they log in in about 51 mins). My queue first said 51 mins, and now more than an hour later and it says 90 mins. This is impossible. Any help is appreciated. Customer support are not replying.
