Very lame that a character who has consistently acted against the best interest of his own people is being glorified for escaping with the help of the enemy and is now using his own people as meatshields to avoid his punishment.

The Tauren tribes were unified under the Bloodhoof tribe on the back of Cairne’s leadership, unfortunately that essentially puts the Tauren tribes under the Bloodhoof dynasty.

Now that Cairne is gone, we have to suffer the lukewarm rule of his inferior son. Maybe it’s time to revise :thinking:

I’m fine with this. We can’t really lose Baine as we don’t have anyone who can replace him. And no, no other Tauren character we have so far is qualified for being the High Chieftain.

Maybe not high chieftain, but I’d argue that literally any other (non-highmountain) tauren would be a better representative at this point than Baine Bluehoof.

Let’s have Magatha Grimtotem as the racial leader for Tauren. A spine she possesses might be a refreshing change of pace for this race. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind getting revenge for a village that an opposing faction destroyed, she might even aid the efforts.

Yeah nah. Sorry but she’s not going to fly as a racial leader with most Tauren players.

She is after all responsible in some way for Cairne’s death, the leader everyone loved (except Grimtotems).

I’d sooner have a new character introduced that takes a harder line and doesn’t fence sit as much.

The tauren need a dwarvern flair, like a council, or something. Hamuul, Aponi, Tahu. Anything but Baine and his incompetence.
