Quickie: Horde's Reaction to Baine's Escape

The latter is very classic old Horde (and Garrosh’s), but I guess we are referring to different versions of the Horde.

???

You also never adressed this point.

Imagine, during peak WW2 the allied leaders meet (for some reason) in a small allied control area of Axis territory, one of the leaders has been using chemical weapons, scorched earth tactics, and been performing inhumane experiments on prisoners of war and because of this another leader has conspired behind their back to free a prisoner of war and even kill some of the guards. Would it be reasonable for all the other allied leaders to suddenly turn on them?

No, it wouldnt. Because it’s a war, and they are neck deep in enemy territory having just conquered this land.

Theramore was, Teldrassil had no military assets inside it.

morally grey remember.
According to the Blizzard writing team, genocide is morally grey.

So destroying the Sunwell is actually morally good.

i honestly really don’t get the weird ooc zealotry that people seem to have about this topic (mostly from the ‘loyalist’ side but occasionally from the anti-sylvanas side too)

it’s just blizzard level writing, even they don’t expect it to be any good

that said i do find it weird/worrying that people seem to keep arguing on a semi-ooc level in favour of the fashy stuff sylvanas gets up to and suggest that she should be allowed to get away with it

Out of character I don’t care if lore character X begins killing loads, I would honestly care more if Evilperroy would turn the Valley of Honour into the killing fields

In character – Speaking about Morsteth – I think it is based if anyone but Grimtotem/Blood elves/Forsaken die loads I just love it

Who were evacuating the civilian population

It wouldn’t really make them very smart, but I mostly want them to do it now since they aren’t going to do it when the war is over. It’ll just be forgotten about so they should kill her NOW. It’s zane Horde tactics bros

Let’s hope so. Sylvanas and Forsaken were more interesting as the black sheep of the Horde doing their own stuff from the shadows.

My blood elf fights for Quel’Thalas first, the Horde second. If the Lor’themar throws his support behind Baine and Friends, then that is the path of the sin’dorei.

Meanwhile Vervaina will be terrifically pleased with another rebellion within the ranks of the “mongrels”.

Teldrassil still had lumber that could be used for the war effort. Moreover, the trees were producing oxygen for the soldiers.

Valid military target confirmed.

So there were still military assets inside Teldrassil, who would’ve been fighting if they weren’t evacuating due to the fire.

Therefore, legit target.

I may be corrected @ any time but it seemed to me that at one point the Forsaken society was about freedom + being left to your new self instead of following Sylvanas to world conquest, would be cool to return to simpler times but both fits my RP so OOC I do not care mega

Not really, as the majority of the Night Elf army and navy were able to escape. It’s like Napoleon seizing Moscow only to find there’s no Russians to fight.

That said I’m sure the grinding cogs of Sylvanas propaganda machine would naturally make it look like a great victory. If anything it shows that the Horde are vulnerable to fake news and will likely just believe any nonsense about Baine being released (or possibly even such information being suppressed within Orgrimmar).

Nothin’ but TRUTH.

the point was that I don’t want to spend my day arguing since i originally just popped in to give my char’s thoughts

(aka kill the undead)

Bearan is a rebel IC now I guess because Blizzard won’t physically let me hate the Alliance

Looks like my options in RP in the future are gonna be:

  1. Support/assist in attacking Thunder Bluff
  2. Team up with Anduin and the Honour Squad

For sucks sake

I feel the same way, despite being on the other side of the Horde fence :frowning:

So much of a truth that Sylvanas can only reliably trust what, Overlord Geyarah, Gallywix (maybe) ? The rest are turning on her shockingly quick.

No Lor’themar means the Forsaken-loyal elements have no hold on the Eastern Kingdoms of any major repute now. No Baine means a hostile rebel force in the heart of your continent. How is this going to be spun?

Putress clones going “DEATH TO THE LIVING!” Mass conversion of living Horde into undead?

Yeah turns out that the Horde leaders are more bothered by one human prince being ressed than Teldrassil burning but somehow SHE’S the bad guy in the face of all that blatant racism.

smh.

Don’t get me wrong, once Sylvanas starts going rlly anti-Tauren/Old God-y I think it makes perfect sense to fight against her

But why do we have to dive knee-deep into Anduin’s butthole and team up with the Alliance to do so

Argh! Just let me fight the Alliance dudes!
