oh also surprise, Xythel and Tek are both my characters, don’t think i ever mentioned that.

Silvermoon

Fairly standard Blood Elf life. Learning to be a Mage, learning to be a proper ‘Lady’ as her parents didn’t want her becoming a ranger or anything and saw being a Mage as something more befitting of her, learning to deal with Magic addiction and also suppressing the effect Fel magic had on her.

As stated, she was originally a mage but in recent years, especially after coming into contact with Demons in TBC, Fel started to have more of an affect on her which caused her to delve more into Fel magic and become a Warlock.

Yes, a relationship with Tek for a bit in secret (neither Horde or Alliance would approve) during her Mage days but this soured when Tek found out about her delving into Fel magic which Tek was repulsed by. In more recent times she’s formed a Tenuous relationship with her Succubus but as Xyth has given more of herself up to Fel magic, her succubus is being seen more as a tool than a partner to her now.

Xythel doesn’t really relax as such but is exhilarated using Fel.

She killed her parents when she first succumbed to Fel. It was mostly accidentally after her parents found out and scalded her for it and in a fit of rage she drained their souls. She mounred for them after she realised what she had done but this only fuelled her into becoming the Warlock she is now.

Finally, something to write a wall of text for!
Here comes.

Q: Where was your character born?
A: Somewhere in Quel’thalas. No specific location.

Q: How old is your character?
A: He’s 121. Fairly young for an elf, but nowhere really near being a child.

Q: What was their childhood like?
A: Thion was the eldest of three, but his two younger siblings were both born long after he was. He was at least in his late thirties when his younger brother came around, so he spent his childhood years as an only child.

I imagine his affinity to wield the Light was discovered at an early age, so he would have been sent to train, but he wouldn’t have been away from home for longer periods of time. His childhood would have been fairly uneventful, otherwise.

Q: What made them choose to be the class they are?
A: A priest, in general, he didn’t really choose it. He was always a priest, he never really knew anything else, but didn’t regret it either.

Now, about his turn from the Light to the shadow/void. During the Scourge’s invasion, most of his family died (will not spoil it, that goes deeper than it sounds like). Losing his faith meant pretty much just losing his magic powers.

He had a long period of not giving a damn about anything and started studying shadow and by extension void magic.
So to sum up the anwser, he became a shadow priest because he could no longer use the Light, despised the thought of using arcane, had a dark period and shadow came more naturally than fel.

Q: Have they ever been in a relationship?
A: While he was worshipping the Light, no. And after turning to the shadow, he was
well, less chaste, due to his “do whatever” attitude. He is in a relationship now, though and it seems to be working out for him.

Q: What do they do to relax?
A: Reading. He’s actually fairly clichĂ© from that perspective. He just likes reading whatever. Pleasure reading even, like romance or adventure.

Q: What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
A: Well, here come the spoilers about his backstory then.
He lost his right arm in a magical explosion that took most of his family with it. Now, he makes no secret about that, but below his usual cocky and sometimes downright arrogant behaviour, he used to be a depressed drunk, taking more risks than he should, hoping it’d kill him at one point. He started practicing void, originally because he thought he’d be executed for it. Deep down, he found himself a coward who couldn’t just “get it over with”.

He’s on a sort of redemption arch now, though, becoming less reckless and acting more of an adult more times.

Q: What is their favourite mount?
A: He doesn’t traditionally use mounts, being able to cast void rifts for longer travels. But if it would be necessary, he’d either make himself float or use a voidstrider.

Q: Weapon of choice?
A: He has all sorts of magical focuses like staves, wands, daggers and books. Unlike most of my characters, Thion doesn’t have a weapon with sentimental value. He’s mostly just casting spells.

Now, as for other questions, how about asking for best friends and how they met them?

Awesome response, I’ve added the question

Where was your character born?
Quel’thalas, out at his home in the forest.

How old is your character?
Just over two thousand years old.

What was their childhood like?
Happy, more or less. He spent it with his two siblings. Kinda took a turn for the worse after his mother died.

What made them choose to be the class they are?
After the fall, he was a surviving, trained and capable soldier who had formerly held a rank of some small regard. One thirsty for vengeance. A prime candidate for the second phase of recruitment for Blood Knights, after the former High Elf Paladin’s had been brought on board.

Have they ever been in a relationship?
Yes, several over the centuries.

What do they like to do to relax?
He enjoys reading and writing. He also exercises - running and straining his body helps calm his mind and organise his thoughts.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
He is a passionate chef. After years of travelling, campaigning and what-not, he became used to incredibly bad rations and the like. Army food is not good food. So he learnt he to supplement his own rations with food he had caught or bartered for, and from there learned to prepare and cook it. All went from there.

What is their favourite mount?
His Hawkstrider! The last living mount from his families old livery.

Weapon of choice?
The ol’ sword and board. He has an elven steel blade and a kite shield stamped with the Blood Knight crest.

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?
Uh
 Hm. Uh
Hm. He’s not really one for close friends. I don’t think he has anyone alive that he would call his ‘best friend’ nowadays.

Nice, love this thread  Let’s see!

Fairbreeze Village - Eversong Woods

I always have it difficult with character age, especially long living ones XD
Ethanar is something like
33-ish in “Human” age
or even Elf age, as he’s far from being old and wise.

Ethanar’s childhood was full of mischief and childish games. Living in Fairbreeze Village was joyous for him and made his childhood quite a lovely and lively one.

His father practically chose that ‘class’ for him, as Ethanar is incredibly strange for an Elf in every way. Father pushed him to study magics and focus on them, whereas Ethanar found that to be boring and didn’t want to be ‘like his father’, boring and ‘posh’. On top of that, he even feared magic, which is absurd for an Elf!
Ethanar chose a completely strange way of life, as his spirit is lively and he needs challenge and danger on daily basis. He was born to be an Outlaw and a Scoundrel!

Ethanar always liked a gorgeous Blood Elf lady who he had grown up with. While nothing serious happened between them, as it was pure innocent love, Ethanar’s lifestyle made the two part ways. Despite that, his heart still yearns for her.
He likes to flirt with ladies, but he never got into any type of serious relationship!

Admiring views at open horizon/sea; sailing, feeding birds and accompanying pigeons atop Stormwind rooftops!

Ethanar used to posses a powerful mana necklace which kept him ‘in control’ and sated, that necklace got taken from him in his failed attempt to rob Blood Elves from precious wines. A Demon Hunter made quick work of him - you won’t hear Ethanar mentioning that!

His trustful, loyal, amazing Donkey! Donkey gets to carry all the needed supplies, poisons, herbs, sleeping bag
donkey is practically his traveling home!

Daggers, knives and a pistol. Ethanar prefers smaller weapons, to help him stay agile.

His donkey is his best friend, befriended him in Drustvar after donkey literally saved his hide from a witch! Not intended as donkey was running away from bewitched creatures
but since that day the two are always adventuring together!

Q: Where was your character born?

A: Goldenmist village, Eversong Forest.

Q: How old is your character?

A: She is roughly in her 320’s.

Q: What was their childhood like?

A: Uncomplicated. As a child of many born into lesser nobility, she was comfortable and relatively free of hardship and expectations beyond pursuing sorcery, looking pretty and attending social events.

Q: What made them choose to be the class they are?

A: She was originally groomed to be a sorceress, the magic proving tragically insufficient for saving Quel’Thalas from the Scourge. As her education had directed her, a problem requires a solution and a mystery demands answers. As such, studying the demons responsible for creating the Scourge became a natural method of cutting to the root of the problem. Later studies into the Void taught her how to permanently destroy them.

Q: Have they ever been in a relationship?

A: There were a few during her carefree youth, though most of that time is a heavily repressed memory to shield her from trauma. Thinking too hard about the past puts her into a fugue state of reliving thing she’d rather not. These days she doesn’t pursue anyone even if a few have expressed interest.

Q: What do they like to do to relax?

A: Looking upon the world as it is, unburdened by nostalgia and hopeless dreams of futures that might not be. It is a regrettable state but undeniable in its harsh honesty and simpler to deal with. Filtering her observed truths into symbolism and verses soothes her mind and gives the brutal reality a sort of beauty.

Q: What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?

A: Presumably her studies into the Void as a necessary weapon against the infinite, now taboo of the highest order with the elves embracing the Light. Whether that has her exiled is a question of questionable canoninity.

Q: What is their favourite mount?

A: It used to be a gorgeous hawkstrider of purple plumage to fit her family’s colours, raised from an egg by more competent hands but loved fiercely since its first days as a downy ball of fluff. New striders have been kept since but that first love can’t quite be recaptured. Since the razing of her homeland, she lacks the resources to keep a stable and gets places by various summoned mounts with no sentimental attachment.

Q: Weapon of choice?

A: Her mother’s staff as gifted to her at the end of her sorcerer’s apprenticeship. An empathetic weapon, its crystal would shift colour according to the moods and magics of its weilder but Marinya’s proclivities seem to have turned it permanently green. It has no grand power beyond being a spell focus.

Q: Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?

A: One of many repressed memories of a golden haired girl of years past. She now lacks friends with most thinking her an addled eccentric and she makes little effort to convince the world otherwise. She had a few apprentices for sorcery, alchemy and witchcraft in the past but hardly friends.

I thought this would be a fun game so here are some questions about your characters backstory to answer:
Where was your character born?
Dawning Row, Silvermoon.
How old is your character?
1,404, he only knows the precise number because one of his late wives was a scribe/accountant and was pedantic about such things.
What was their childhood like?
A mix of both cold, and comfortable, The Summerisles were a Magisterial family, as such whilst not noble were what we would class as ‘comfortably Middle Class’. He never wanted for anything as a child, however with that came a price, Summerisle children were -expected- to become Magisters or Magistrixi. This is all fine and well if they have Arcane leanings, but whilst Brigante did dutifully study, he had no actual talent for the Arcane beyond the average, which is a terrible thing for such an Arcane based society, as a result, whilst his mother was supportive, his father became cold and diffident towards him, regarding the boy as ‘not quite up to scratch’ and favouring his younger siblings, who -did- show Arcane Talent. To be honest, apart from his older brother, and younger brother and sister, his childhood was fairly spartan and loveless.
What made them choose to be the class they are?
One day the young boy ran from his lessons, he knew he would get in trouble later, but for now, running was his victory, he could take in the spellcraft theory, and the principles of Arcane manipulation, but when it came to actually implementing it he just didn’t have the ability. So he ran, he ran, knowing he would face his father’s fury later on for absconding from his lessons, and as he sat, upon a grassy hill, he heard it. The Skirling cry of a Dragonhawk, he looked upwards in time to see a flight of four Dragonhawk riders in formation, on a random patrol of the skies of Quel’thalas.
He was nine years old, he had looked at the skies, dreamed of being an eagle, and fell in love all at once. He would -be- the greatest Dragonhawk rider ever known
As soon as he was adult, he contested to join the Farstriders, and the rest is history.
Have they ever been in a relationship?
He’s 1,404 years old, he’s been in plenty. Possibly the most tragic was with ‘the girl next door’ an on/off relationship that had started when they were both children in the usual childish way, with teasing and hair pulling, then as they became adults something deeper, As a long lived race, Elves don’t rush things, it wasn’t until Rachayelle’s family took a stance against the new teachings of draining Mana, that trouble struck. By this time Brigante had a more than thousand year career as a Farstrider and Dragonhawk Rider behind him, he was a devout Patriot, and could not leave his country, He could not, would not leave his country, and so it was a tearful farewell between him and Rachayelle as she went into Exile. He later found out she was bearing his child, a young boy who she named Durovante. History may have turned out happier, had her choice of where to dwell been better.
But then. No one could have expected Theramore.
That was the point that tipped Brigante from ‘disapproving of Garrosh’ into ‘Open Rebellion’
Since then he has married twice, once to Ensoria Grey, a studious, innocuous looking soul yet with an acerbic tongue, and also a writer of a lot of Silvermoon’s ‘top shelf’ literature, a fact none would guess. Brigante never read any of her books, almost afraid he would see reflections of their private lives in there. They had a son, Asharion, who tragically died during the recent Legion invasion. He is currently married to a woman called Tarrithael, or ‘Red Seven’ as she is also known (She is an espionage agent for Silvermoon), they have two infant children, twins, a brother and sister, Laindor and Kayrissa.
What do they like to do to relax?
He likes reading. He is an absolute culture vulture, but what he really likes? What really calms him, perhaps because of the destruction he causes in warfare, is creation. He loves taking parts and making a whole, in short, he loves cooking. He is an incredibly gifted chef, he loves to cook, What started as basic training in his early days as a Ranger, as to how to live off the land, became a hobby, then a passion, then a skillset such that he could walk away from the Dragonhawks and into a job at a top restaurant as it’s head chef. It calms him.
What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
He believes, or doesn’t believe, but sort of believes, that the Skies are a Woman. He has anthropomorphised them in his mind. Not as in an actual Deity with a name, just this nebulous “The Skies” thing, a scary, wild crazy blue yonder, who’s hair is fluffy and white as the clouds, whose mood is as fickle as a thunderstorm, who cries, rants, rages with thunder and lightning, but then shows love and smiles when sun breaks through the clouds. He is a little bit worried that this private belief is a little too similar to Loa worship, but has never found an appropriate way of asking any of his Troll associates about this.
What is their favourite mount?
He doesn’t have one. He has a mount, a Hawkstrider provided to him by the state as befits an Officer for ceremonial purposes, a magnificent white-ish grey Hawkstrider called ‘Hotspur’. He doesn’t have a favourite mount. He has a Battle-Brother. His Winged Self. Sunspear, third of that line. A massive blue/silver crossbreed Dragonhawk, they are all but inseparable, the bond between them is akin to telepathy, as it is for all of the Sun Hawks and their Battle Brother/Sister, Like his rider, Sunspear shows the nicks and scars of a life of combat, and is, in the words of Brigante “A Beautiful, bragging Bully” Certainly Sunspear is very certain of his position as the ‘Alpha’ of the Sun Hawks Dragonhawks, however also nurturing of the smaller ones, the reds and the gold breeds, and not just those, Sunspear is fiercely protective of the ‘hatchlings’ of his ‘Wingless Self’, and Laindor and Kayrissa can freely clamber around the vast creature’s coils at no risk of harm, and several times have been found peacefully sleeping under the blanket of his vast feathered wings. Brigante trusts Sunspear with his life, and his children’s lives, and vice versa.
Weapon of choice?
He doesn’t really get emotional about weapons. He has a longbow, he has paired sabres, he has a spear, the spear has a name, it is called Duran’dal Its a bit magic. He’s actually just an ‘average’ archer for a Farstrider, which is still massively superior to most folks, He is a bit nifty with his two sabres, and Duran’dal feels like cheating, it has a Chronomancy enchantment, allowing him and those around him to act swifter, with keener reaction times, than enemies, however at the cost of his own physical energy.
Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?
Well, apart from Sunspear, who is emphatically his best friend, and not a mere Mount, that would probably have been Asharion, who he met during service together in two units, the Ashen Company, and the Bloodied Talons, that were later merged due to losses, as the Dawnguard. They were friends to a degree that Brigante named his (Unfortunately ill-fated) son Asharion after his friend.

Where was your character born?
Southern Quel Thalas

How old is your character?
227

What was their childhood like?
A curious mix of isolating herself with her books, ensnaring boys and establishing a dozen life-long rivalries.

What made them choose to be the class they are?
Mahli’ficia has spent most of her two centuries as a practicing mage. It is only within the last two decades that she began working with fel and demons, following the destruction of Quel’Thalas and joining Kael’Thas journey to Outland. This destruction made her realize there was no room for morality when it came to survival, and that she should pursue any source of power that could give her an edge.

Despite this, she still likes to consider herself a mage.

Have they ever been in a relationship?
27 times. Although it never worked out. Mahli’ficia either grew bored or had too high standards; found someone more exciting, and in the few cases she actually did find the one, she managed to sabotage it by pushing them away.

What do they like to do to relax?
Visiting spas, baths, restaurants and enjoying the worldly luxuries her pay can afford. Alternatively, shutting herself in and immersing herself fully in an old tome or book.

Once she liked to visit peaceful places, yet the constant whispers of the void has destroyed that activity for her.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
She likes to be kind at times.

What is their favourite mount?
Her Prismatic Floating Disc. Dealing with animals and their needs can be tiresome, and therefore an enchanted circular disc of metal that can hover is the ideal substitute. Mahli’ficia has killed too many marine lifeforms by forgetting to feed them.

Occasionally, she may command her Shivarra to carry her; usually when the demon becomes too haughty, imperious or tries to challenge her.

Weapon of choice?
Frost & Shadow magic. Although in extreme situations, Mahli’ficia will also use her fel magic. Her main equipment is her mage staff; modified to absorb any excess energies or corruption from her spells; although she also carries a wand for quick spells, and a crystal orb for enhancing certain of her spells, scrying and general communication.

Yet despite her fondness for magical duels, she prefers to leave the bloody work to her succubus and shivarra whenever possible.

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?
A human, Daniel Moreland. He was little more than a teenager when he entered Mahli’ficia’s abjuration class at Dalaran, yet he was the first human to impress Mahli’ficia with his open mindset about magic. Mahli’ficia became his mentor, and they even became professional colleagues later. However, in his sixties, Daniel Moreland would come to join the Cult of the Damned in search of eternal life, participating in the scourging of Quel’Thalas, and even becoming a Lich under a new name.
Yet despite all this, Mahli’ficia does not hold a grudge. Even though Daniel is now an undead monstrosity in deep exile, Mahli’ficia still feels he is the only one who ever understood her, and they occasionally share notes, research and philosophical discussions in secret.

When was your character born?

Dangerbeard was born in Shadowforge City.

How old is your character?

Dangerbeard is 44 years old.

What was their childhood like?

Dangerbeard grew up in what would now be known as a lower middle-class family in Shadowforge City. Hard work to achieve what you want was instilled in her from a young age. Her parents used what little savings they had to secure an apprenticeship at a small engineering shop for her, hoping she could one day open a shop of her own. While by no means poor and wanting luxuries and leisure were rare in her childhood. Her earliest memories include seeing military parades, seeing soldiers off on military expeditions against the Blackrock Orcs and seeing those same soldiers return, often wounded and fewer in numbers.

What made them choose to be the class they are?

Dangerbeard grew up dreaming of becoming a soldier and defeating the Blackrock Clan in honourable, glorious combat. She believed she was close to realizing this dream when she got drafted into the Shadowforge army at a young age. Distinguishing herself early through hard work and a practical attitude she was selected for a special programme aimed at infiltration and sabotage. She learned quickly to use whatever she could to her advantage and the ideal of honourable, glorious combat quietly faded away.

Have they ever been in a relationship?

Nothing serious, though she’s had a handful short relationships. She was married to the job as soon as that became an option and the idea of getting married plopping out a miniature version of herself or two secretly doesn’t appeal all that much to her.

What do they like to do to relax?

Dangerbeard enjoys any and all tests of endurance and strenght, be they running, climbing, lifting heavy stuff or boxing or anything else. She also enjoys taking the time to prepare a good meal though she doesn’t afford herself the time to do so as often as she might like.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?

When her mission of infiltration, sabotage and terrorism against Ironforge went sideways her backup plan was to sell out the team she was part of to the Alliance in exchange for getting off with minimal or no punishment. Her commanding officer beat her to it and landed her and the rest of the crew (that survived) a nice decade in a cell somewhere underneath Ironforge.

What is their favourite mount?

Dangerbeard doesn’t own a mount. She did steal a ram once and would probably have grown fond of the creature if it hadn’t been killed in an ambush about a week later.

Weapon of choice?

Dangerbeard doesn’t really own and weapons that have specific significance to her. She was taught to use whatever is on hand and that’s what she does. She does have a specific fondness of hand to hand combat because it feels more ‘personal’ to choke someone out or break their neck. The sawn-off shotgun has a special place in her most practical heart because it can be used as a great equilizer against a formidable opponent.

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?

Dangerbeard doesn’t tend to consider people friends easily but she has fond memories of the engineer she apprenticed under. He’s the one that encouraged her to say yes to the special operations programme.

Where was your character born?
Dalaran

How old is your character?
In her thirties

What was their childhood like?
Relatively calm until her teenage years. Her parents were Mages, she was taught to be one herself and had easy to learn, the family also had an enchanting business in the city that went quite well, I’d put her in maybe upper middle-class in todays terms. When Dalaran was attacked during the Third War Vilumina evacuated to Stormwind with her mother, her father had disappeared by then

What made them choose to be the class they are?
When she found her father again it turned out he had left them to study demons and fel magic which she also got curious about, and one thing lead to another, today she’s a Warlock/Shadowmancer

Have they ever been in a relationship?
Nothing very serious like marriage or engagement, the regular early teens affair with another Mage in Dalaran. She also was in a pretty serious relationship with another Warlock once but he went crazy and left, she presumes he joined a cult

What do they like to do to relax?
Read books, probably about magic or powerful artifacts

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
She’s a bit too close to go insane from the fel and shadow magic she plays with

What is their favourite mount?
Some form of summoned demon horse (either the warlock racial one or the puzzle nightmare mount)

Weapon of choice?
She rarely use a weapon but she always carries a small dagger, she believes you should always have backup plan should the spells fail

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?
She doesn’t really have any friends at the moment

Tanaris, northeastern cliffside, family mine.

Approximately 43.

Ye ol Mekgineer chopper.

Mining for mom until she and nine siblings got eaten by a sand worm that tore the entire mine down, went off to a chemist uncle in Northrend.

Three husbands, really liked the first two, nr three was business.
Met an enthusiastic cook with a solid sword arm on the way to Northrend, he was part of a pirate crew that agreed to take her in instead of taking her out.
Ended up staying for seven years on the sea, some fine years.
Popped out four kids with him before they together made an attempt at starting a shipyard south of Hillsbrad, it got shot to shreds allong with the hubby inside by alliance warships, orcs wanted ships and the humans did not want to take chances.
Went to see if the uncle was still in Northrend, found the camp, kids in tow.
Met the second hubby there, dealt in alchemy and taunka trinkets, good trading alone, but the man was a priest making stacks teaching healing to some local trolls to boot.
Had five kids with him, some even showed promise as healers.
Had a good life, untill alliance soldiers came to burn everything down in “retaliation” for their ships, hubby and two teenage sons were gutted right there in the blink of an eye.
Fled to Kezan where she met a yewelcrafter that could need her, found work for her younglings, had three little daughters together.

Loved her kids more than gold, regrets not failing as a mother and telling them that.

When Kezan fell the ships came across a thing they were not meant to see.
The three oldest were trading pelts in Taurajo.
Seven sons and five daughters, one big bright flag to blame.
During her travels she learned about explosives, alchemy, subtlety, swordfighting and a number of skills that only had one purpose now.
Not revenge, there was no getting even, no making things right, only hate.

Simple things like putting lotion in the basket and lowering it down to those who wore blue on a bad day to do so.

Sabers, pistols and fire, acid if there is time.

Where was your character born?

“I was born in a little town in Quel’thalas. You probably wouldn’t even find it on most maps, but it was near a Farstrider outpost where my mother worked. More importantly, it was a comfortable, homey kind of place. I’ve come to like cities since then, but I’ll always love little places like that.”

How old is your character?

“Don’t you know it’s rude to ask a lady her age?” She chuckles. “Seriously, though, I’m a hundred and forty-two. I admit, I have to think back to my birthday to remember these days. After a while, an Elf starts counting in decades.”

What was their childhood like?

“Idyllic. I’m sure there were all kinds of little problems and frustrations I’m not thinking of, but looking back now, it was wonderful. I spent my days reading over my big brother’s shoulder, ‘adventuring’ in the woods with my twin sister, or just getting into trouble. Always had a knack for being where I shouldn’t be.”

What made them choose to be the class they are?

"Class? I’ve been called a rogue. I like to think I’m just a sneaky ranger with some tricks. I joined the Farstriders mostly to be like my mother, since I’ve always looked up to her, but I found it suited me. I may not be able to track a single leaf as it flies through a hurricane, but running, climbing, sneaking, and generally mucking about outdoors comes naturally to me. Like I never stopped adventuring in the woods, just got better at dealing with the Trolls.

“Years later, I branched out a bit. My sister had become a Blood Knight, and there I was with all the power of a pair of daggers. It was a mistake, I see that now, but at the time it seemed like a great idea to go looking for dark power to contrast her light. Several years and numerous teachers later, I’m now an expert Void-user. Just because it’s a mistake doesn’t mean I shouldn’t roll with it afterward.”

Have they ever been in a relationship?

“A few, here and there. I wouldn’t call most of them serious. There was one girl back in the Farstriders, for a few years, but it kind of fell apart after a while. We just wanted different things out of the relationship, you know? These days I prefer to keep it casual. At least for the foreseeable future.”

What do they like to do to relax?

“I love reading. Or talking to someone about something complex and interesting, like culture or magic. These days I can never get a moment’s peace from the voices, but that doesn’t mean I can’t get to a kind of relaxation. Just the kind where I never let my guard down, or stop questioning my own thoughts. You get used to it.”

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?

“Well if I told you, it wouldn’t be a secret, would it? Hah, okay, I’ll tell you one secret. A girl’s got to keep a bit of mystique. I’ve got a supplier who smuggles me these sweet, dried meats the Tauren make, sort of crystallized somehow. No idea how they do it, but I love them.”

What is their favourite mount?

“Ooh, tough call. I have a horse in Kul Tiras named Spirit. He was actually bound for a worse fate, but he kicked his way out of it. I think he might be my favorite. But there are a few who make a very strong argument

Weapon of choice?

"I’ll take the right tool for any given job, given my choice. Facing undead or creatures weak to Light? I’ve got a pair of truesilver blades. Hurts to hold these days, but they work. Regular mortal enemies? Void-infused elementium daggers get inside their heads with every cut. Golems or particularly tough elementals? Keen knives made in Pandaria, with enchanted ghost steel to cut through metal like water. And so on, and so forth.

“My ‘default,’ expect-the-unexpected daggers are Elven songsteel, master crafted, easily concealed and perfectly fitted for my hands. They’re also great for channeling any kind of magic.”

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?

“Probably my sister. Wow, that sounds lame to say out loud. I do have a lot of friends, or at least people I like and who I care about, but I think I’m the closest with her out of everyone. We don’t always get along, but we have each other’s backs.”

I think I messed up the quote thing but you get the idea!

Where was your character born?
Silvermoon City, born and raised

How old is your character?
38, young enough to still keep track of the exact number

What was their childhood like?
Probably very normal for mage students to quite wealthy parents, a lots of studying with the occasional banquet. She has a twin brother, their parents died to the Scourge.

What made them choose to be the class they are?
The mage part wasn’t really voluntary, her whole family were sorcerers but she wanted to as well and always had an interest for magic. The Void part though, well, some people are more interested in the dark than others, after the genocide of her people she thought it a good idea to pursue alternative powers a little more closely. She now label herself as an Umbral Mage (totally stolen from the Umbral Rangers in Telogrus), using a mix of shadow and frost magic.

Have they ever been in a relationship?
Yes, for a couple of years, military guy, later became a Paladin, didn’t work out.

What do they like to do to relax?
Read a book, be in a calm place outdoors (used to be in her garden)

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
It’s not very much of a secret but she misses her brother very very much and she’s afraid he could actually kill her if they met

What is their favourite mount?
She doesn’t own a “real” animal, so she only uses summoned mounts

Weapon of choice?
Staff but only uses it for complex spells that require a conduit

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?
She’s had friends through the years, the last one was a girl that didn’t survive the Void corruption, now she’s pretty alone

The village of Lakeshire in Redridge mountains.

20 years old. Though it increase as i grow up in real life.

It was a normal life as any other villagers.

Rashingan himself isn’t sure why. Perhaps because of a natural talent? Or maybe because he wasn’t good or even brave on melee combat at the time he started.

Nope. Never at all.

Chilling on the ground in a good, warm day.

Tym knows that whenever Rashingan is bored much, he spies on people before using a disguise spell on himself to appear as one of them, then he pranks them.
He knows that Rashingan started doing this as a training on his disguise spell, but now he is just doing it for fun.

None. As long as he will get to his destination. Though Rashingan would like to ride a big dragon.

Magical staff. Preferable to be powerful one.

Whoops I never did Tek, here goes:

Draenor in Shattrath

Around 55ish

Tek’s parents were Rangari so he naturally trained to be a Rangari as well however he always spent his down time watch Artificers work on technology which he found fascinating. He’d ask them for spare parts so he could create his own little inventions which he’d use (sometimes to the annoyance of his parents) in his Rangari training.

As said, his parents were Rangari so they helped him train to be a Rangari.

Yes, a couple of flings on Draenor with a couple of Draenei, a more serious secret relationship with Xythel and a bit of an on/off relationship with a Pandaren called Shaetau.

He’s a bit of a ladies man this one (or so he likes to think).

Practising his shooting, fishing or just enjoying some ale at the Lion’s Pride Inn which is considered a classy establishment. It’s entirely about the Ale and nothing to do with the women dancing in their underwear on tables.

I would say his relationship with Xyth but that’s not so secret anymore. Tek witnessed his parents being slaughtered at the hands of an Orc on Draenor. It sent him into a rage causing him to kill the Orc. It’s something he never truly recovered from and uses humour the bury his pain and anger inside himself.

Whatever the latest mechanical mount is. He’s currently using a G.M.O.D. but he’s had difficulty removing Gallywinxes face off the damn thing. He does also like to use his Lightforged Warframe which is more akin to technology he’s used to.

Currently, Titanstrike as it has a hell of kick to it.

His pet fire tortoise Bowser. Tek is rarely seen without Bowser. Tek met Bowser during the cataclysm in the firelands. Tek befriended Bowser and they’ve been together ever since.
