Raid Adjustments Discussion

KT/Vashj are cockblocks for T6 which is arguably easier than KT/Vashj, that made no sense back in the day and it makes no sense now. M’uru is much later in the tiers and if people quit at that point then so be it.

A) If you look at Warcraft logs there are 12107 registered pugs / guilds who are not 10 / 10. There are 9823 10 / 10 but this is misleading.

Of those initial clears that aren’t 10 / 10 a lot of those guilds have been merged / absorbed / disbanded. On my server it’s probably around 80% (horde side) who clears 10 / 10.

If guilds can’t clear the content at this stage they should focus on fixing their raid issues and they will easily clear it. There is no reason to ruin the experience for everyone else just because members of these guilds can’t be asked to learn the basics of the game or put in a bit of effort.

The content is easy as it is and it makes no sense that content should be faceroll until the last boss of the expansion. It’s a way better design to some resemblance challenge in each of the phases.

Cringe post? Check.

Cringe name? Check.

Ape-like class? Hey look, you scored 3/3. Well done.

Dont nerf them at all IMO.

That is not true, a lot of guilds have been struggling with getting 25 players for a long time but it is not a constant thing. So just because you havent had a full roster untill now dont mean you where never meant to take them down un-nerfed.

l2p i guess?

Why not just allow them to skip to the finalbosses instead of nerfing them? Clearly it’s mostly an issue with time for those guilds… well for some atleast not that I want that to happen but more than nerfing the bosses…

I think indeed a minor nerf, could help the general players who focus a bit more on casual raiding, and also people who never have raided Phase 2 content from back in the days.

The more hardcore raiders have no issues to speed-run SSC/KT witih 3 hours. as i have seen so far. but would help alot with a minor nerf. for most.

That sounds like a great idea! Best solution that I have seen on both the US and EU thread on this topic.

A better idea would be to have the GY moved closer to SSC entrance if you die in SSC and potentially have some sort of teleport to make wipes less time consuming. Skipping straight to the last boss is kind of hollow.

Nerf this stupid overpowered massive trash in SSC/TK instead.

DONT NERF PLS…killing the archivement and progression of guilds that are casual n still working on vashj or kt… nerf tk and ssc with bt / Hyal patch. nerfs are to reduce the clear time on new content launch so the previous content gets cleared faster and there is more time for the new content. also blizzard giving us PTR… use it guys n ushouldnt be hardstuck 8/10. every1 asked for harder challenges compared to classic… if u nerf t5 alrdy. what will sunwell be ? nerf after 2 days? cmon…nerf it with the new patch release and not now .ty. doing ssc tk full on multiple 70s and it was fun toarchive it with the guild n now just stampede through it first day

I understand some people struggle (some hates it some likes it) and even some people that just want free loot and blast.

But let’s be honest, this is what everyone signed up on starting to play TBC. The content will be nerfed at some point and everyone get a chance to get them down.

I hear some people saying tbc bleeding players and this would help nerf the bosses. Why do they bleed players? It’s not like the majority left now during ssc/tk, it’s way earlier than that because Blizzard destroy the game with bots, boosts and so on. I have hard to believe these guys will come back when you break your biggest news headline before TBC released.

As others mentioned - something that both casuals and tryhards probably would agree on is IF you really need to do anything, nerf trash by 20% or remove some packs so the guilds get more time on the bosses. Or you just nerf everything as you said in P3.

Also coming with news like this one week before no matter you like it or not… It’s incredible you never learn how to communicate in time.

Great news, they should bring in post nerfs when they release next phases like they did with kara, maggy, gruul. Why make it such a faceroll place for the people that can do it in its current state, would be very unenjoyable. If you want gear to be put on a plate for you, go log into retail and get all the epics u want from world quests.

If you use the ‘oh, my guilds disbanding, we need this nerf’ then you obviously dont have a solid foundation for a guild and you should prob join another anyway

It’s not about me it’s about all the players out there that have jobs, families, and can only dedicate so much time to the game. If the intent is to gatekeep those people from experiencing all the content then alright. I just don’t think it’s right, I hate pre-nerf content, I want the raids easier or at least as they were in TBC POST-NERF. Things get nerfed for a reason. Bringing back pre-nerf is catering to hardcore guilds and people with too much time on their hands.

Please don’t nerf current halfway through. U fixed the bugs and issues that was great. Now let the players progress the current content. Nerf it when P3 gets released.

And the so called people with families and without time or without skill can clear this when t6 hits.
Is there any reason why 100% of the guilds must be at full clear in current content?

Want the raids post nerf? then return in Sunwell or play that crapfest call Shadowlands.

At this rate may as well just nerf the raids after week 1 and then have the bosses mail loot to people who cleared the content.

All content closes in 3.5 hours. Further 6 days of freedom. You can go for half an hour to the battlefields or collect resources during these 6 days.No need to hide behind families if there are no hands.
Consolidation of servers with a small population will help solve the problem of lack of players for guilds that do not raid with full roster.

So you want to nerf the only somewhat exciting boss fights in the game into the ground? That doesn’t sound very fun.

If you want to make the bosses more accessible for guilds that are struggling, nerf the trash so it doesn’t take so much time. I don’t think there are many people out there who thinks basically getting one shot by sawblades the moment banish breaks because the mobs somehow store up a sawblade gatling gun while banished is fun in the long run. The same goes for murlocs in aoe packs capable of oneshotting people dropping threat, and trash mobs with MC always instantly using powerful abilities with a long cd. Unavoidable deaths and wasting big cooldowns is just a massive waste of time.
