Raid Tuning Update -- 27 April

With scheduled weekly maintenance (27 April in this region), we’re making the following adjustments to the raid:

Sepulcher of the First Ones

Halondrus the Reclaimer

  • Time required for Volatile Charges to trigger a Charge Detonation increased to 30 seconds (was 10 seconds) in Mythic difficulty.
  • Charge Exposure duration increased to 32 seconds (was 16 seconds) in Mythic difficulty.
  • Earthbreaker Missile damage reduced by 20% in Mythic difficulty.
  • Changed the pattern of Planetcracker Beam during Stage Three in Mythic difficulty.
  • Reduced Halondrus’ health by 10% in Mythic difficulty.
  • Reduced damage of Eternity Engine by 10% in Mythic difficulty.

Anduin Wrynn

  • Anduin’s Despair and Anduin’s Doubt health reduced by 15% in Heroic and Mythic difficulties.
  • Befouled Barrier’s absorbs 10% less healing in Heroic and Mythic difficulties.
  • Fiendish Soul’s Soul Explosion missile travel speed reduced by 20% in Heroic and Mythic difficulties.
  • Monstrous Soul health reduced by 6% in Mythic difficulty.
  • Lost Soul’s Banish Soul cast time increased to 12 seconds (was 8 seconds).
  • Grim Reflection’s Grim Fate haste bonus reduced to 200% (was 250%).

The Jailer

  • Jailer’s melee attack decreased 10% in Mythic difficulty.
  • Jailer’s health decreased 5% in Mythic difficulty.
  • Martyrdom damage decreased 15% in Mythic difficulty.
  • Torment damage decreased 10% in Mythic difficulty.
  • Boon of Azeroth buff increased by 20% in Mythic difficulty.


Don’t talk or they might nerf shadow priest once again.

Why destroy the last thing some ppl have to do before the next exp this fast ? Do you really want everyone to leave this game once for all ?

this is the best boss i have done in a very long time, and i recognise that sometimes i’m going to be the unlucky one where the nerfs hit just before we’re about to kill it, but these changes are sooo excessive. do 12 or 15 or something not 30

That bomb nerf is way overkill. Unfortunate, were close to getting him down pre-nerf but alas.

Way to kill a boss.

first you spend dev time designing a boss way too hard for anyone except a handful of people to kill, only to nerf it again and again, finally deleting the entire boss. hilarious!


This halondrus change is not good. It’s a good boss now as it is. This change will make it a totally different and much worse boss fight. I don’t think any of the guilds who are on this boss want this.

Who cares … rwf is over. It’s overtuned af anyways and the rwf elite went on already to play other games while the paying majority still struggles.

We understand that Beast master hunters are in a very bad spot right now, and are giving 30% aura buff to all dmg. We are sorry for not testing enough before season 3 vent live’’.

A lot of people care. The overwhelming majority on the US bluepost are advocating against this. Speaking to people in the same situation they care, if it’s overtuned how has 269 guilds killed it? (nice)
Just because you’re not on it doesn’t mean it needs nerfing.


There is many nerf to do before completly anhilate the fight interest for player, like removing the 10% health, maybe nerf a bit the P3 damage and the missile damage, and even if you want a bigger nerf change the 16s debuff to 12s but the 30s is BS and complety destroy the only fun we had in the fight up to now.

Us. Evidently. And A LOT of Mythic raiders that are currently struggling with the boss. I mean you dont even Raid mythic so why do YOU care that we mythic raiders actually care?

It isnt. Not “af”. Slightly perhaps given Halondrus position in the raid but its not overtuned “af”. So a nerf to 12-15seconds would have been fine. Even a “you can instantly pick it up” or that you just drop it upon death.

Yes. Its called Mythic Raiding. Clues in the name.

Not nerfs that make THE MYTHIC mechanic pretty much obsolete in its entirety. The Health and Missile/Engine Nerf would have already been more than fine if one really wants to nerf Halondrus further.

And if youre that advocate about nerfing overtuned stuff then please proceed to point out the non existing nerf to Anduins ring mechanic on normal that has no place on that difficulty while oneshotting you whatsoever.

If you still like the challenge, unequip a few gear pieces or play elden ring. Get over it. No casual cares about such first world problems
